The feels are raw, the feels are real. Here’s the closing of @faye.faire’s “I’m Still Alive”, performed last night at @studioangguk for @districtdawn’s “Neon City Soul” album launch.

JOIN US AT THE ALBUM LAUNCH OF DISTRICT DAWN’S NEON CITY SOUL! 🫦

We’ll be opening for our friends @districtdawn alongside @wallflowerband_ at @studioangguk on April 4, 2026 (Saturday).

This debut album of theirs has been a long time coming, a culmination of the respective talents of @garethlee_v @gabederealton @athanleong @yiyangthien27 @shanicechants.

Some of us were also able to contribute to the District Dawn debut. Alena sang backing vocals on “The Thread” and as an alto, part of the choir on the epic “Your Show”. Yoga also sang backing vocals on “The Thread”.

On top of everything else, it’ll be a rare full band performance from us this Angguk show, with some new material being played. ❤️

You can get your tickets by messaging the number on the last slide or contacting any of the bands and its members. See you there!

We had the opportunity to add some string lines into one of @districtdawn's songs. We did the recording on 23-February, and it was a really cool experience to work with everyone on this team. We look forward to hearing the song once the recording process is completed. All the best District Dawn! Thank you for having us 💜

#indiemusic #stringquartet #malaysianmusician Amethyst String Quartet recorded the string lines for one of District Dawn's songs for their next album. The recording took place on 23-February in Sunway University
