When I said I’d do this show, I didn’t have a clue it was going to be as big as it was for the city! To be honest, when I said I wanted to do it, I don’t think I knew what I was thinking. I just dived in head first when the opportunity was given.

@high_life_north were the first magazine I ever interviewed with so to have them then sponsor the catwalk and join forces with me felt like a full circle. I couldn’t have done it without them (or @skullenstudios ).

Bringing this show to life was a rollercoaster.

Being able to shine a light on other small businesses was an honour!!

Bringing a room full of people together, who come to see my work still feels wild!

Building a backstage of beautiful humans inside and out, really showed me who I am as a person. What I believe in and what matters the most.

I never thought I’d bring new friendships and new relationships to life doing this.

To put on Newcastle’s first sustainable catwalk still doesn’t feel real to say out loud. Did I actually do that?

To the girl who was lost 5 years ago and started the business as a distraction. To putting on her first catwalk 5 years later - I’ve grown so much as a person and for the first time in my life, I’ve been able to say I’m proud.

📸 @chrisdavisstudio you’ve given me memories to last a lifetime!

What an amazing Joyful event!! It’s been nearly two weeks since walking Newcastle’s first sustainable catwalk for the amazing Cory Dixon of @somebodyelsesguy She’s such a talented designer who’s creative drive and passion permeates everything she does and also the people around her !!
The scale of work involved in putting on a show like this was mind blowing!! Oh and what a show it was!!
Such original stunning outfits born from Cory’s imagination. I absolutely loved my outfit’s and felt so proud to be a part of this show.
Normally I would edit a video to show highlights of me as it’s on my feed but this is about the collective of beautiful, smart ,generous humans who all gave their time and talents to make something truly unforgettable happen. This was a day and night filled with love creativity and excitement brought about by one canny little Geordie lass with passion in her heart and fire in her belly🔥
There are so many wonderful people who were involved and I’ll tag as many as I can.
A special shoutout to @skullennic whose organisational skills were off the charts. She’s so impressive and an absolute sweetheart.
Thanks to the lovely Lesley Lister MD @ttmmanagement for approaching me with this xx

Being a Runway Director for the first time was f*cking Mint (Geordie for amazing) - and one I couldn’t have done without the perfect team behind the scenes and in front of the camera.

To every model, photographer, videographer, sound & lighting team, hair & makeup artists, catering, and backstage crew - THANK YOU!

And Corey @somebodyelsesguy , thank you for trusting me and allowing me to bring your vision to life. It was an absolute honour to be part of it. IM SO PROUD OF YOU!
