Within 48 hours we’ve written, produced, filmed and edited this beautiful project that holds such a special place in my heart now ❤️ when we started the weekend, I had no idea what kind of role I would play and what type of genre would be chosen. I’ve done many 48hrs (maybe too many hehe) and I know how fast things can go wrong, but this incredibly positive and warm team must be one of my favourites, because they were always kind, always excited, even when we had only one more take at midnight to get it right and it didn’t stop them from turning this intense and intimate subject into something so delicately and beautifully brought to the screen.

Pls, universe, send me more of these type of projects and people ✨😌🥰 (but maybe this time without the 48 hour part lol, that’s intense for a musical film that’s also (almost) an entire one taker!!!)

Ps: so happy we went for musical genre!!! I cannot believe we actually did it!??? Aaaaahhhhh!!! 🎶

De bezorgde vader Eric verwerkt zijn verdriet door te proberen controle uit te oefenen. Hij wil Damian beschermen tegen pijn en duwt hem daarom
richting de 'Landverkenners' waar hij kan leren zijn pijn te onderdrukken. Hij ziet Damians pogingen om over zijn moeder te praten niet als een handreiking, maar als het openen van een wond die hij wanhopig probeert dicht te houden.

My favourite scene of "Wis Je Dit?"

"Simon is a narcissistic man in a troubled relationship. During this session with this therapist he finds out he can go inside her mind and see what's been bothering her. But he quickly finds a way to make his life so much easier, but at the cost of what?.."

For the first time in 15 years of friendship I got to do some on-camera work with my brother @ditismartinvis and I still love this scene so much!

Such an INSPIRING MASTERCLASS ✨

I had the opportunity to teach an intensive masterclass focused on bridging the gap between directors and actors—two roles that share the same goal, but don’t always speak the same language.

We explored how directors could communicate more effectively on set, using clear, actionable direction based on objectives, intensions and behavior.

Directors also worked on scenes themselves, experiencing what it truly feels like to perform

We also explored what makes acting choices interesting based on 4 criteria: be authentic, be dynamic, create connection and keep the audience engaged.

A rewarding experience diving into human behavior and the foundations of acting and, and sharing practical Chubbuck tools that support both actors and directors. #chubbucktechnique #romyirene #directingactors @dutchdirectorsguild
