Chciałabym podzielić się z Wami kilkoma kadrami z mojej historii. Rok temu zostałam zaproszona do Mediolanu, gdzie moja kolekcja „Gioia della Vita” po raz pierwszy ujrzała światło dzienne. Kolekcja jest inspirowana włoską kulturą, filozofią i stylem życia jej mieszkańców. Projekty przywołują atmosferę śródziemnomorskich wakacji - blask słońca, szum morza i powolne chwile przy filiżance kawy. Kolekcja opowiada również o kobiecości i jej przemianach. Każda sylwetka symbolizuje inny etap życia kobiety, a całość stanowi manifest przypominający o własnej wartości, sile i pięknie. To właśnie od tej kolekcji zaczęła się moja historia. Dzięki niej mogłam spełnić jedno z moich największych marzeń i zrobić pierwszy krok w stronę świata, o którym zawsze myślałam. Dziś, po roku, wracam do tych chwil z ogromną wdzięcznością i jeszcze większą motywacją. A to dopiero początek. Stay tuned, bo ta historia jeszcze się nie kończy. 🤍 #fashionweek #designer #milanfashionweek2025

A moment I will always be proud of. 🥰 Honoured to see my work featured in the new issue of SELIN Magazine Front & Back Cover — a beautiful recognition of the vision, craftsmanship and countless hours behind my couture. Seeing my designs on the pages of a magazine is more than a publication to me. It is a reminder that every detail, every stitch and every sleepless night was worth it. Thank you, SELIN Magazine, for giving my work this beautiful space. 🖤 Congratulations and endless love to the entire team who made these images come to life. I am honored to share that my Berlin Fashion Week collection “NO, AMEN! NO, YES!” has been featured in the latest issue of IKON Magazine @ikon.magazine . What began as an idea and evolved through months of research, craftsmanship, and dedication has now found its place not only on the runway, but also in print. As an independent designer, every publication is meaningful. Being featured by IKON Magazine following my presentation during Berlin Fashion Week is a milestone I am deeply grateful for. Thank you to everyone who believed in this vision and supported this journey. - Yasemin Akgül CREDITS: Fashion Designer: Yasemin Akgül / Instagram- @yaseminakguel Production & Show Direction: Kasia Stefanow / Instagram: @kasia_stefanow Events: Mystyle-Events Satis Fashion / Instagram: @mystyleeventssatisfashion Runway Photography: Rafael Poschmann / Instagram: @posh_foto Monika Mraczek / Instagram: @monikamraczek Runway Choreography & Backstage: Iwona Leśniak / Instagram: @yvvles Choreography & Backstage Assistance: Greta Gasperi / Instagram: @_mypassion4fashion Make-up Artists: Royal Academy of Make-up / Instagram: @royal_academy_of_makeup Stella Grossu / Instagram: @stellagrossu Anna Bohuslavska / Instagram: @anna_bohuslavska Nina Zhorzholiani / Instagram: @kakauridzenini Ivanna Kamenshchykova / Instagram: @ivannakam Iryna Golovchenko / Instagram: @irynagolovchenko Karchenkova Oleksandra / Instagram: @karchenkova_make_up Hair: Antonio Iengo / Instagram: @iengo_hairstyle Hand-painted artwork by Visual Artist: Ümit Kamil Akgül / Instagram: @gecesairi Backstage & Closing Walk Support: Myat Nahatomi / Instagram: @myat2_n Location: Waldorf Astoria Berlin / Instagram: @waldorfastoriaberlin MODELS: LOOK 1: @div_fashionmodel LOOK 2: @3rlxnd LOOK 3: @kateryna.wagner LOOK 4: @ronjalnz LOOK 5: @wrnowak LOOK 6: @helena_van_de_kasteele LOOK 7: @itsolgaborys LOOK 8: @uchenna.zoe LOOK 9: @drea_my_miri_ LOOK 10: @cindy.koopmans LOOK 11: @_eliobx

For four months, this collection was my daily life, my focus and my greatest challenge. I spent three and a half of those months solely on bringing it to life. Every design, every cut, every construction, every single fringe and every detail was designed and crafted by me personally. I devoted the rest of the time to research, concept development and technical experimentation, in order to turn an idea into a complete haute couture collection. The hand-painted artwork for Look 9 was created by visual artist @gecesairi and adds a further artistic dimension to the collection’s message. NO, AMEN! NO, YES! was not designed to please. It was created to take a stand. This collection raises its voice against racism, discrimination and exclusion. It stands for people who have the courage to be visible, to speak their minds and not to be silenced. Eleven looks. Four months work. Thousands of handcrafted details. As an independent designer, realising this vision without a studio or a production team and finally presenting it at Berlin Fashion Week fills me with indescribable pride. My deepest gratitude goes to everyone who became part of this journey and helped bring this vision to life. To the entire team behind the show — the models, hair and make-up artists, photographers, stylists, backstage crew, coordinators and everyone who contributed their talent, passion and dedication: thank you for believing in this collection and giving it the stage it deserved. A special thank you to @kasia_stefanow @mystyleeventssatisfashion , for creating this opportunity and making this presentation possible. Thank you to everyone who supported the production behind the scenes, and to the Polish Embassy @ambasadaniemiec in Berlin for being part of this meaningful moment. I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my family, my friends and all the wonderful people who supported me throughout this journey. Your love, encouragement and belief in my vision gave me the strength to continue, especially during the most challenging moments. This collection exists because of passion, dedication, courage and the incredible people who stood beside me. Thank you for being part of this journey.
