I took a trip to New York with bestie @divamcneela. It was epic. We saw four shows, all of which had @elonmusictheatre grads. These pictures don’t even begin to capture how perfect this trip was.

Graduated from @elonmusictheatre @elonuniversity 10 years ago today… 🥹🎭❤️! This was such a fun and wild era of life. So much learning and unlearning occurred during these four years and certainly since, but I miss it all the same. Especially the people. These were great times! “Pink Sombrero…live it up!”

accepting my Elon University Top 10 Under 10 award last week was the hugest blessing, specifically in the midst of such an emotionally tough week for my family.

two days before our memorial for our dad, my entire family got to spend a weekend at Elon - a place not only of some of the happiest memories for my family, but also a representation of the huge financial sacrifices that my dad made for me to be able to pursue what I love for a living. I would not be where I am today without his sacrifice that let me attend this university and musical theatre program, a place that genuinely shaped me into the human and performer I am today.

it was also so inspiring to be in a room surrounded by such badasses in their industries and fields. genuinely felt unworthy of being amongst them and the impacts that they’re having in their communities. I’m very proud to be a Phoenix.

Because every graduation ceremony deserves a little MT flair… we had a sweet flash mob-esque moment at the end of my speech 🎶

What a beautiful week with @virginiatheatrefestival….And the bonus was that we got to see so many Semester at Sea friends, and old theater friends and even a stop through Elon to see my bestie!

Last month, I visited the best place in the world, Elon University :-) Shout out to Kari Taylor for making it possible for me to do so many of my favorite things! Ballet class with Cherie Bower. College coffee with President Connie Book. Quality time with Cathy McNeela and Dr. Leo Lambert. Campus tour on a golf cart… at long last! And a master class with all the amazing current music theater students at my precious alma mater. These kids are crazy talented! Cannot wait to return this week to deliver the commencement speech and celebrate this year‘s graduates, class of 2024 ❤️ See you soon, you little slice of heaven!
