Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to call, text, message, post, send flowers, give gifts, or simply reach out to wish me a happy birthday yesterday. Every bit of love meant more to me than I can put into words.

If I’m being vulnerable, I wasn’t exactly looking forward to turning 41. Birthdays have a funny way of making you look at your life and think about where you thought you would be by now… and this year especially, I’ve struggled with feeling like I’m somehow “behind” on the timeline I once imagined for myself.

This past year has had beautiful moments, but it has also been hard. There have been highs and lows, changes, disappointments, growing pains, and moments that truly tested my heart. There were times I felt incredibly strong and others when I was simply doing my best to make it through the day.

But somewhere along the way, I’ve started to understand that maybe life isn’t about being “on time.” Maybe there isn’t one timeline we’re all supposed to follow. Maybe I’m not behind at all.

At 41, my life may not look exactly the way I once imagined it would… but I’m starting to believe I’m exactly where I need to be. I have people who love me deeply, a family I’m incredibly grateful for, friendships that have carried me through some of my hardest moments, a career I’ve poured so much of myself into, and so many things younger me would be proud of. And I still have so much life, love, laughter, adventure, and possibility ahead of me. 🤍

A special thank you to my wonderful parents, my brother, and his girlfriend for making last night so special and for the beautiful birthday dinner. I’m so lucky to have a family that continues to show up for me, celebrate me, and love me through every version of myself. ❤️

So here’s to 41. 🥂 Maybe I don’t have everything I thought I would have by now, and maybe some of my story is still being written. But I’m learning to stop measuring my life by what hasn’t happened yet and appreciate everything and everyone I have right in front of me.

Thank you for reminding me yesterday just how loved I am.

41… I think I’m ready for you after all. 🤍✨

A very Happy Mothers Day to this mujer right here!!! I may not be able to fold a towel or fitted sheet to your standard 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 but I think I turned out pretty great thanks to you!!! 🤷🏻‍♀️😏 Thank you for always being there for Joshua and I whenever we needed you, and for being the best momma we could ask for even if we tested your patience and gave you grey hairs! We love you 😘 @divanumber5

“Motherhood is a choice you make everyday, to put someone else’s happiness and well-being ahead of your own, to teach the hard lessons, to do the right thing even when you’re not sure what the right thing is...and to forgive yourself, over and over again, for doing everything wrong.” 💐🤍

Easter brunch at home with my favorite people 🐣💐

So grateful for a day filled with love, laughter, and a lot of good food… charcuterie, shrimp, berry croissant casserole, bacon, sausage, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and of course coconut cream pie 🤍

And let’s not forget the mimosas… plenty of those 🥂

Nothing means more than slowing down and spending time with family, my parents Brenda & David, my brother Joshua & his girlfriend Mia, and our sweet doggies Chuy, Lenny & Suki 🐾 Coco & Luke wanted some alone time from the littles.

Full hearts, full plates, and memories I’ll hold onto forever 💛

On your 41st wedding anniversary I’d just like to say…
To the couple who personifies love, and symbolizes the best in life. You are the parents that all kids hope to have, you are the couple that all lovers hope to be and you both are the pillars of support that every family wishes it had. Your togetherness in good and bad times has taught Joshua and I teamwork. Your tolerance for each other’s habits has taught us patience. Your support during each other’s crises has taught us solidarity. Your lives as our parents have taught us how to live. I admire you both not just because you are my parents but because you both are a living example of how two people can align their life goals, be committed to their love and nurture a family’s growth year after year.
Happy Anniversary Momma & Daddy ❤️ #41yearsstrong
