It's been lovely to see my piece, Course (2024), in conversation with the other works by @dive.studios artists for our group show, Community Pool.

We built this gallery space together and the works complement each other so nicely.

Course is a digital print of the Loch Alpine Golf Course in Ann Arbor, MI on cotton fabric, hand-manipulated into pleats and sewn down along pathways in the landscape. These paths became clearer in the years after the land was left to re-wild after the clubhouse went bankrupt. Made by both people and wildlife, the paths grew more defined once the course became a communal space.

Community Pool is the inaugural group exhibition and christening of our gallery and event space at @dive.studios for Detroit Month of Design. Having a space here to support the artists at Dive and the larger art community in Detroit and beyond is something I’ve always wanted to do and it’s an honor to be collaborating with great people. Future shows and programming are underway! @designcoredet
.
Come by this Saturday 2-7 to see the space and our studios.
.
Snacks and drinks + I will be handing out free multi colored cigs. Long live Fantasias 🚬

Open studios are happening again at @dive.studios this upcoming Sunday May 31st from 12-5pm!

As usual we're welcoming the public into our studio work spaces, offering a glimpse into our processes and a chance to buy affordable pieces.

I'm also excited to announce that Dive will be fundraising for a new communal space being built out for future showings & events, and as a resource to our artists and greater community. We will have a special selection of artworks available to purchase, whose profits will go directly to the space.

See you next weekendddddddd 🚣

Living life full of gratitude.
This summer has had me hustling and showing up for everything I love, and receiving it in return
•
From my first installation with @bereworn, to a bit of traveling to Miami, a successful open studio for Detroit Month of Design, installing my largest indoor work to date at the Art Fair with @art_clvb, having my work apart of @artprize, and my favorite, meeting talented creatives and amazing people. This summer of presence with myself and others has been more than rewarding 💛

My highlights from Detroit’s 15th Month of design for @surfacemag. This year the city is also celebrating its 10th year as the country’s only UNESCO designated City of Design.

It was somehow my first trip to the mid west and left me yearning to go back.

Thanks to @designcoredet & @camronglobal for being such gracious hosts. 💝
