From the legendary thresher shark encounters in Malapascua to the stealthy glide of white tips and the sheer presence of a tiger shark—there’s nothing terrifying about them when you actually know them.

Sharks aren’t monsters. They’re misunderstood. Most are shy, cautious, and crucial for reef health. Seeing them up close isn’t scary—it’s grounding, humbling, and honestly addictive. 😁

If you’ve only ever seen sharks in horror films, diving with them rewrites everything. They’re not hunting us. We’re not even on the menu. 😉

Let’s give sharks the reputation they deserve: vital, graceful, and worth protecting.

I might have picked the worst video and most challenging subject to learn how to do masking… but now I know for next time 😅
Videos top to bottom:
1. Electric clam aka disco clam (can you see the sparks?)
2. Human
3. Pelagic thresher shark
4. White tip reef shark
5. Xenia (soft coral)

Morning routine at Kimud Shoal: off #Malapascua Island.
At dawn, thresher sharks rise from the deep blue to reach the cleaning stations with the first light of the day.

One of the rare places in the world where you can experience the privilege of meeting this majestic creature in its natural habitat.

with my awesome isla brother, dive master @jestongulfan happy for your visions coming true

I can truly say MTD DIVESHOP MALAPASCUA @diveshopmtd deserve their hard work , I have been scuba diving with these local scuba divers on the Isla, I've seen how much they've grown from their humble beginnings, from the small street shop upto this new better dive center with an amazing beach front view slash H. O., they still deliver, excellent service, if there's a will there's a way

proud of my isla bros, to Kuya Jess and miss Janet, I'm grateful for the opportunity to experience the warmest of welcome everytime I go back to this beautiful paradise, sea ya again and again

FYI I'm a scuba diving guest arkixoffsite momo pj 🇵🇭🇯🇵🤿 🧜🏼‍♀️
