In this kitchen, lacquered millwork in a rich charcoal blue conceals the refrigerator and freezer, bringing depth and subtle reflection to the space. A sculptural, Giacometti-inspired chandelier in white plaster complements the beadboard ceiling, while warm wood and a thoughtfully curated mix of objects introduce texture, character, and individuality.

What a night! ✨🥂

An evening celebrating the incredible people, creativity, and talent that make Jackson Hole’s architecture, design, and building community so special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Jackson Hole History Museum for our Homestead Industry Gathering. It was wonderful to bring so many familiar faces and industry friends together for a night of celebration!

A special thank you to Benjamin Moore and DiVinci Painting Group for their generous sponsorship and thoughtful contributions, Kathryn Mapes Turner for her beautiful original drawing giveaway, Timothy Brown Studio for helping create such a stunning setting, and Steinway Pianos of Utah for bringing the magic of music to the evening with their spectacular Steinway Spirio grand piano.

Here’s to 26 years of Homestead and the extraordinary community behind its pages! 🥂

When it comes to running a painting business, finding the right supplier matters just as much as the paint. For @divincipainters, that means having access to premium @benjaminmoorepro products, expert color matching, and the support needed to deliver high-end results.

See how that relationship helps the DaVinci crew give a 1901 historic home in Illinois a fresh look with Aura Exterior. Full video at the link in bio 🔗

Looking back at last week and all it brought…
We hosted our first-ever Trade Collective event—bringing designers, architects, professional painters, and builders to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, and create opportunities for future collaboration.
We also hosted a successful panel during Design Chicago highlighting how the partnership between designers and professional painters bring a creative vision to life. Thanks to all who joined us!

From avocado green tub to a bathroom that’s beautiful and works better for the people who use it. (And yes, I kind of loved that old avocado green! 😉)

This summer, I remodeled this very small primary bathroom in a charming Door County cottage for a client with MS. The old tub was difficult for her to get in and out of, so we replaced it with a walk-in shower, added a folding bench, and carefully planned the fixtures, grab bars and layout to make showering easier and more comfortable.

The goal? Make it functional without making it look functional.

I love that the finished space still feels warm, charming and right at home in an older Door County cottage. Because good design isn’t just about how a room looks—it’s about how well it works for the people who live there.

On to the butler’s pantry…a calm refuge tucked between the kitchen and family room. A small space, but one we wanted to feel transportive with just enough detail to make passing through feel like a moment of its own.

Phase II of Traditional on Golf:

As seen in Sheridan Road, here are a few images of a reimagined Primary Suite for my Winnetka clients.

We leaned into a thoughtful mix of vintage and custom pieces, woven textures, rich colors, and classic prints to create a space that feels collected, sophisticated, and distinctly personal.

Swipe to see the before!

This little Door County cottage is getting some much-needed TLC—a complete remodel of the primary bath.

Our client has MS, so we’re thoughtfully redesigning the space to be fully accessible while still feeling beautiful and comfortable in this tiny space.

The goal is simple: to make sure she can fully enjoy her summer home, with as few barriers as possible.

Because good design should make life easier—and never make you feel limited by your surroundings.
