✨ FUN THINGS TO DO IN ATLANTA✨

Tonight I had such an amazing and unique experience with @divine_libations 🍷✨ I’m forever grateful for the invite and the opportunity to learn more about the wine making process, create my own blend using all natural simple syrups, and even take a bottle home!

I love being in spaces that allow me to try something new, learn, be creative all while being intentional . This was so much fun and thoughtfully put together. TRUST I will be back ! Prepare to be sick of me ‼️😂

Here’s where those little cards took us. 🩶

He had no idea where we were going. Turns out, a staycation in Atlanta was exactly the birthday weekend he wanted.

We started at @divine_libations, a Black-owned winery inside the Black-owned collective @koncepthouse. Our private session was just us and Josh, who was awesome to talk to while we made our wines. Naturally, I named mine “By Design.” 💫

Then came @marcelatlanta. Best steak I’ve had in years! The pommes dauphinoise and wine were wonderful, too, but the bread service stole the show.

@forthatlanta, a boutique hotel on the Beltline was our home for the weekend. A gorgeous top-floor room with two couches and beautiful Atlanta views. The staff were amazing in helping me get everything into the room before we arrived, which made pulling off the surprise so much easier. Add an impressive 20,000 sq. ft. gym, a relaxed afternoon by the pool, and massages. An incredibly comfortable stay!

Dinner at @georgiaboyatlanta was special. Hidden behind Southern Belle, James Beard nominated Chef Joey Ward took us through 15 courses at the chef’s table. I even tried new things🤣 ! Everything was good, the wine pairings were perfect with the dishes, and the overall experience was top notch.

We kicked off his actual birthday with brunch at @thegardenroomatlanta. Absolutely beautiful, with an atmosphere perfect to kickoff the day’s celebration.

And because it was Sunday, we finished with @gaseahawkers, cheering on our guys for the second game of the season. Rounding out the weekend with the 12’s had to be part of the plan. 💚💙

This weekend reminded me how special a staycation can be when you put some thought into the details. We got to enjoy our own city in a way we haven’t been intentional about before.

And all that planning? Absolutely worth it. He loved the surprises and the activities. All the work put in definitely worked out. 😉
