And just like that, the 2026 Alabama teal season is in the books! I sure hope we go back to longer seasons in the near future…

Farewell to another season in Bama. The highs were really high & the lows were really low. This rollercoaster ride of a season went by way too fast. Thankful for many great hunts with friends & family!

They made us work for it, but we managed to scratch out a few while @hunterwallis & @jeffwallis12 were in town! Grateful for the hospitality @jnix0958 & @blakeadial.

Started the youth weekend yesterday with big brother getting a turkey. Finished it out this morning with the little guy getting his first longbeard. Even made it to Sunday school on time! What a blessing this weekend was. Memories that will last a lifetime!!!

What a week it has been! Was blessed to finish 2nd in the Grand National Team Air & Friction Championship with my calling brother @hunterwallis . Watched several buddies make the cut to the final rounds of both the friction & senior open divisions, then got to see Hunter win his first Grand National Senior Open Championship. All of us at @rollingthundercalls brought home hardware this year! Always great catching up with my turkey calling family & outdoor industry friends. Seeing the launch of the @chenegear turkey line that’s been a couple of years in the making was pretty dang special as well!!!
