📚✨ BOOKSTAGRAM SHOUTOUT 🗣️ PART 2! ✨📚

So many different genres, aesthetics, reading tastes, and corners of Bookstagram… but one thing we all have in common: there are some AMAZING people behind these accounts. 🖤

Some I’ve known for a while, some I’ve recently connected with, and some I’m so glad I found. 🥹📖

This community is so much more than numbers and follower counts. It’s the people, the conversations, the support, the recommendations, and the friendships. 🫶🏼

So here’s another little shoutout to some of the bookish people who make this space so damn special. You’re seen, you’re appreciated, and you’re not going unnoticed. 🖤📚

Go show these amazing humans some love! 👇🏼

Sometimes therapists and clinicians get so focused on showing up for their clients that their own mental health quietly moves to the back burner. The long days, the emotional weight, the constant giving—it adds up.

But you can’t pour from an empty cup.

Taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury in this field, it’s a necessity. Because the same compassion, patience, and care you give to others… you deserve to give to yourself too.

To every clinician reading this: your wellbeing matters just as much as the people you support.

All joke’s aside it’s a powerful moment when a client realizes, “my therapist actually gets this.” 🤍

When clients sense that their therapist can genuinely relate—not just clinically, but human to human—it can deepen trust, reduce feelings of isolation, and make it easier to open up. It reminds them they’re not “too much,” “too complicated,” or alone in what they’re experiencing.

At the same time, it’s not about the therapist sharing their own story—it’s about creating a space where the client feels understood without the focus shifting away from them.

Monday Mom Check-In 🤍

How are we doing today, mamas? How was your week?

My week was okay. My daughter wasn’t feeling well over the weekend, so that was a lot to manage, but it’s a new week and she’s slowly recovering. She’s doing much better than she was on Friday, which I’m really grateful for.

I also stepped on the scale this morning and realized I lost another 2 pounds since the last check-in! I’m really excited because it means I’m getting closer to my first goal weight.

Motherhood has a lot of ups and downs, but little progress is still progress.

If you’re a mom seeing this, this is your Monday mom check-in. How are you feeling going into this week? 🤍
