POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’m just sitting here stuck in this boring , uneventful January, seeing everyone posting about 2016 and I realised that 2016 was the year I moved back to London from Birmingham.
About a month after I moved back I discovered @diythursdays 💕
I couldn’t believe this night existed. I usually hate everything and I don’t want to go anywhere but this night was everything I liked. Everything was pink, punk and a bit John Waters. There was a different theme every month, cool bands playing, badges at the door of Sparks and PJ Harvey!I couldn’t believe it!
Lyndell welcomed everyone and you immediately felt like you belonged there and you weren’t just a random stranger. She even let me draw a mural for DIY’s fourth birthday (the only time anyone allowed me to draw a mural 😂).
I miss it.It was nice to have something like that.Even if it was just for a few years 💕

It’s the penultimate week at Pikes in 2024 and while it’s not quite Halloween yet, there’s still no rest for the wicked!

Tonight, Andy Manumission & Pikes Ibiza present Mondays for the second last time and we’ve just managed to get a peek at tonight’s secret line-up and if you’re on the island tonight all we can say is get yourself on that guestlist!

On Tuesdays, it’s rub-a-dub-Bathtub Club night, when anyone and everyone is welcome to pile into the smallest club space in the world… or simply hang out in Plaza Mayor with other like-minded Pikes lovers. Then, after an incredible season of hot, sweaty house-fuelled sessions in Freddies, we finally say goodbye to David Morales on Wenesday night, as he hosts the closing party of his 2024 residency with a special live PA from BLONDEWEARINGBLACK. What a ride it’s been…

Don’t pack away your dancing boots yet, because it’s another major night on Thursday when Guy Williams throws a Flash Closing like never before – celebrating 35 years of DIY and 25 years of Music For Freaks! Yikes. Is anyone else feeling their age at this point? You can hang those boots up for a ‘lil rest on Friday though, as the entire hotel is closed for a private event.

Use the time to refuel wisely because on Saturday, it’s going to be one for the books when we host our Pikes House Party Closing Party. You know the drill, but let us remind you one last time: take in dinner-and-a-show with the Pikes House Band on the Sunset Terrace, shimmy through Plaza Mayor and around the pool as if it was your own private catwalk. Dive into the Bathtub Club and then take your last stomp beneath the discoball with Horse Meat Disco and Camilo Miranda until Nick turns the lights on.

It ain’t over until we bid farewell to Sundays at Pikes, and sadly, the time has come. Rounding out the season for Sunday Best by the pool are Simon Morell, For mankind, Beatles Dub Club and James Robinson, followed by a Laundry Room takeover in Plaza Mayor with Alex Pott B2B Ion Panadines, Jyoel and Amanda Lean. The takeover continues into the depths of Freddies with Dyed Soundorom, Brunno and Hugo Martínez… and then… well, you know it’s not over until we say it’s over!
