Sometimes I look at Jon and think… how did we go from 16 and 17-year-old kids to 39 and 40-year-old adults with a whole life together? 🥹
18 years has taught me that a good marriage isn’t about staying the same. It’s about learning how to love each other through all the ways you change.
Communicate, even when it’s hard. Keep it fun (and spicy 😜). Grow together, but don’t forget to actually *like* each other.
Jon is basically a golden retriever when it comes to emotional support. He listens to my 48 thoughts at once, makes me feel safe to be completely myself, and always has my back. He’s also the person I know would go to WAR for me without thinking twice!
We’ve had HARD seasons, fun seasons, and everything in between. But through every version of ourselves, we’ve kept choosing each other.
So if you’re in a hard season, just know love doesn’t always look like butterflies. Sometimes it looks like communication, laughter, forgiveness, a little spice, and choosing your person again and again. ❤️

I never take for granted that we are able to last minute pop on over to the grand ole @opry 🥹 Mine and Jon’s second time and the girls very first Opry experience and it was to see some of their favs! I kept telling them just how lucky they are that we live in this amazing city full of dreamers, surrounded by talented musicians , and amazing experiences like this!
Thanks to my sweet aunt , we sat 3rd row to see these icons! It was truly an unforgettable evening!✨
