Bag is packed for my solo debut at @smartbarchicago tonight… going on at 11:30, @dizcodavemaze and @ericakane92 will be opening the night. @jamiethreetwosix following me and @dj.darryn__disco_or_die closing it out. I have some very special records packed for tonight and am looking forward to seeing my friends in the barn. Swipe for flyer and some pics of random records, family and of course concrete 🧱

Thanks @hmann_chgo for this great film pick from the @hear__and__there party!

Long out of print, but back in! Ben Maze’s Chicago style house grooves on D&e Records.

“The ultimate Chicago house & disco collector’s gem returns 7 years after completely selling out and vanishing from shelves. D&E Recordings resurrects its legendary long out-of-print debut release with the CHI- Grooves EP. Don’t miss out on this 5 track EP.”

Check!

Beyond excited to be returning to @smartbarchicago playing alongside @dizcodavemaze @ericakane92 @dj.darryn__disco_or_die and a personal inspiration of mine and OG @jamiethreetwosix.
Here are some words about these incredible DJs and people I’m sharing this bill with:

I owe a lot to Dave and Erica as early supporters of what I do - Dave was the one who introduced me to Sheldon at @thepostchicago, which started my journey in the underground and I owe him many thanks.
Erica had always stopped my in my tracks when she plays, an absolute monster behind the decks - together they’re magic.
Darryn has been essential to the progress I have made in learning this craft. I couldn’t ask for a better mentor, thanks for always giving me the durty truth Darryn! I know it’s been a while since he played at Smartbar, and I’m really looking forward to hearing what he chooses to do there.
Jamie 326 is an undeniable influence in the Chicago sound, someone who was there to experience Ron Hardy. It’s going to sound very Chicago in that basement on August 15th.
See you there !

This month’s International Sounds radio show on @openlabradio direct from Ibiza is now ready for your listening back pleasure 🏝️ 🦩 🌎 🔊✨

From blissed out Balearic beats to lush LA grooves with stopovers in Chicago Disco, a Colombian homage to Bossa Nova, Chino Latino Loco and Italian oles…this has to be some kind of heatwave inspired madness right??? ☀️ 🌊 🥵
