Happy Sunday Birthday Book Haul: 🎉🎂🥳🎁
When I say I’m Thankful , y’all I literally was in awe at the birthday love that was shown to me from my Booksta friends, to even think about me enough to want to gift me is such a beautiful gesture & blessing that I don’t take lightly at all !!!! Thank y’all so much for making me feel special, it means way more than words could ever say 🥹🤗💕💕💕, my page was started during a time in my life where I was not ok & I’ve shared that previously so no need to go all into it, but I say this to say I never imagined this level of community , some of y’all I text or message on here almost daily/weekly & literally consider my friends . The level of gratitude 🙏🏾 I possess is beyond measure, thank you for the conversations, the encouragement, the support & just all the love 💕 y’all made me a little emotional lol I read every note & I’ll hold on to them 🤗

We’re not gonna talk about how late this BRBF content is because if you’ve been here for a while you know I’m a procrasticreator! 😅 Always late but still somehow right on time! More posts to come because this festival was so overwhelming in the best way! I’ll keep coming back as long I can.

I started off my BRBF by attending the last tour stop of Kennedy Ryan’s score tour where she was in conversation with Jahquel J. (Baby, you should heard me singing their praises to both of my uber drivers who had to know what was going on!) It was a tiiiime and of course I loved seeing the Atlanta book baes (and other folks like me who chose to start the weekend off right!)

I don’t think I got any pictures in the registration line, at the welcome mixer, or dinner with some of my faves on Friday. I came back to the hotel to get in the bed so I could get up bright and early for the opening keynote but someone said are you coming to the lounge? Why yes, yes I am. 😅 Sleep?! Who needs that? I needed it bad that entire weekend but the sacrifice is worth it when you can see some of your favorite authors, content creators, and vendors in real life! Here’s a little bit of my Thursday through early Saturday. When I tell you that the love was felt the entire time! I think we’re all going through a little withdrawal.

last year was our first book fest ever and if it taught us anything, it’s what not to bring😭 we will not be the girls with the wagon this year and we’re probably buying the majority of books we’re getting signed, at the festival. we ready!!

✨✨It’s The Little Things ✨✨

Wow, 2025 Wow’d me for real and December took me by surprise! Thank you God for every divine connection, every ah ha moment, every test, without the test there would be no testimony, every lesson, did I have a tough lesson this year, yes, and it had me shedding a few tears but God’s grace. Thank you for the friendships created, for every financial blessing you provided this year, thank you for keeping me and my family healthy, thank you for the air I breathe, it is You, God. Thank you for your peace when I thought I’d had enough, thank you answered prayers that I laid before you, you are the Great I am and I would be remiss if I didn’t give you what you rightfully deserve and that is my hands lifted up in total adoration to you. Without you, none of us would’ve made it this far, has 2025 been hard, absolutely, but you’ve been right there carrying us through, and I say Thank You Jesus!

We all have a story, every new day is a new page, don’t allow your mistakes to dictate your now or your future. Jeremiah 29:11.

I hope this encouraged you as it encouraged me as well. 💕

Clearly, I’m EXCITED to read ALL 10 of these books.

First off, shoutout to all the creators who make these videos look effortless because whew this was harddddd 😭 But hey, it’s my first video/edit, so be nice 👊🏽

The hardest part? Realizing after combining everything that it was over 2 minutes long 😭 and knowing our attention spans are like… 15 seconds max 💀 So, I sped it up ✨ Then I noticed I kept saying “I’m so excited,” but honestly… sh*dddddd I am 😂
