Last night, we had the opportunity to attend One Last Patio Party at The Glen Sanders Mansion, and what an incredible evening it was. Nearly 600 people gathered together to celebrate a place that has meant so much to so many. The food was incredible, the hospitality was gracious, and the evening was filled with familiar faces, old stories, laughter, and more than a few tears. But what struck me most wasn’t simply how many people have a connection to Glen Sanders. It was seeing, all in one place, just how many lives Angelo Mazzone has touched throughout his career. So many people in our industry can trace a piece of their story back to Angelo and Mazzone Hospitality. A first job. A mentor. An opportunity. A friendship. A career that began there. A door that opened and ultimately changed the direction of someone’s life. When you work in hospitality, you spend your career creating moments for other people. Last night felt like one of those rare moments when everyone had the chance to turn around and recognize the person who helped create so many opportunities for all of us. It was beautiful. It was emotional. And it was incredibly bittersweet. Thank you, Angelo Mazzone, for everything you have done for this industry and for all of us, big and small. Your impact reaches much farther than you probably realize. And thank you, Glen Sanders Mansion, for standing proudly for more than 300 years and holding the memories of generations within your walls. What an incredible evening ♥️

Truly a Bittersweet moment last night! The Glen Sanders has been one of my favorite wedding venues. Last night I saw so many familiar faces from the wedding industry and more. I didn’t even capture a fraction of the amazing food @mazzonehospitality had out! Of course I had to go straight to the freshly shucked oysters 🦪 Photography by @mattramos Music & photobooth by @musicmanentertainment1 @glen_sanders_mansion you will always be a special place that we all share so many fond memories!

Uplighting might be one of the most underrated ways to completely transform your reception space. It’s not just about adding some color to the walls — uplighting adds warmth, dimension, and atmosphere to the entire room, taking an already beautiful venue and making it feel even more elevated. And while it looks incredible during dinner, speeches, and the rest of your formalities… just wait until the sun goes down and the music goes UP. That same lighting helps set the atmosphere for the dance floor and gives the entire room that late-night party feel. 🪩💃🏼 Sometimes the biggest transformations come from the simplest upgrades. 👀 Still planning your wedding?
