I never thought being 10 hours from home could turn out to be so good! Highland gave me so many memories with the best people! These past 10 months we made nothing but the most of it being in a small town with nothing to do. I going to miss laughing till my stomach hurts. I have created so many bonds with people you wouldn’t have even expected. You know most people are so excited to leave when the year is over, but for me, I’ve been dreading this moment. When you spend all of your time together everyday these last moments really end up getting to you! Britt, Zoe and Sham, thank yall for being the friends I didn’t know i needed. Yall taught me to be patient, and to put myself before I do anyone. Couldn’t be more blessed ❤️I would not have traded this year for anything! I’m so thankful God blessed me with all of these friendships. I pray that all of yall go to your next schools and ball out! I’ll be supporting every step of the way! Well you guys, WE DID IT! 🤞🏼❤️🎓

The Boys 4x800m relay ran to a 6th place finish with a time of 8:09.19!

The boys 4x800 once again updated their own school record at our regional qualifying meet. Their new record is 8:08.46!

On May 3rd at Shawnee Mission North Relays, DJ Thomas improved his school record with a new time of 4:27.30!
