💥 European Canon - “La Pistola” (solla Remix) 💥

@europeancanon returns to Dead Trax with “La Pistola” EP, delivering a razor-sharp, erotically charged suite of four tracks that oscillate between sensuality and aggression, club hedonism and introspective psychodrama. DDTX004 is not just another techno-adjacent oddity—it’s a meticulously sculpted sonic object, balancing Gothic maximalism with the glitched-out intimacy of post-PC music, spread across three original cuts and a deconstructed bass remix by Bristol-born artist @solladollah.

The remix by solla takes the original’s firepower and dissolves it into a fog of modular glitches, dubbed-out percussions, and disembodied fragments. Imagine Bristol if it had been built in a fever dream—organic textures warp and decay in a slow-motion implosion, hinting at dystopia but never fully surrendering to it. A cerebral comedown with the spirit of a malfunctioning ritual.

Full EP now available to stream & download on digital platforms 🔫🔗🔫🔗🔫🔗

Premiere via @matiereproduction ❤️

The avant-garde duo European Canon, formed by @uvemaster &@dj.tsome, are a pivotal yet overlooked act in Spain’s electronic scene. Following their production work with Lil B and Denzel Curry, the Ceuta-born brothers transitioned into electronic music, blending punk elements with forward-thinking electronics through a consistent driving groove, establishing their signature sound which we’re very excited to showcase on our 4th release.

👁️ European Canon - “Quieres Mirar” 👁️

La Pistola EP’s opening track, “Quieres Mirar”, slithers in with the humid breath of a nocturnal encounter. Built around whispered ASMR vocals, warped castañuelas, sub-bass pulses and sighing flanger trails, it channels the sultry tension of the early Modern Love catalog and the percussion qualities of Night Slugs seen through a rose-tinted lens of digital erotica.

✨ European Canon - “See U Today” ✨

Taken from the forthcoming La Pistola EP, “See U Today” is @europeancanon’s ode to Balearic romance and the golden years of 2000s Ibiza. With shimmering organs, sunset breakbeats and a gently elastic bassline, it tells the story of a fleeting beachside affair—both nostalgic and hopeful, with just enough haze to blur the line between memory and fantasy.

Pre-order DDTX004 now and download both “See U Today” + the title track “La Pistola” on the usual spot 🔫🔗🔫🔗🔫🔗
