Likkle intro needed, Man like Prof innit.
All across the motu, wherever there's synths or people in need of crucial selections, you'll find this Akina Vinyl stalwart. And if you're all about the Dub Plates Bredrin, Muna Records, IYKYK! ❤️💛💚
.
Brace yourself for ruff-n-tuff riddims, deep dubs and conscious hip-hop when the Professor arrives at the Cabana with his black wax stacks! The Prof’s also bringing his mixing desk, so plenty of live Dubs gonna be going down in Napier. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
.
Professor Dynamite, 'nuff said already! 💥💥💥

No introduction needed for our very special guest, the Queen that is Margot Pierard! ❤️💛💚
.
Described as the woman with a velvet voice as smooth as latte, Margot regularly headlines at venues throughout Aotearoa. If you’ve been lucky enough to experience her signature blend of jazz, soul and blues; you’ll understand why Margot always attracts sell-out crowds.
.
Not content with being your favourite jazz diva, Margot has also been making waves when performing with local funk legends Tropical Downbeat Orchestra and more recently accompanying Sound Selectors DJ Sneeky.
.
Much blessed to have Margot on the mic at Heretaunga Dub Club, at New Zealand’s oldest music venue the Cabana on 22 August! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

My heart is so full after another incredible market on Sunday. 💛

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with the gratitude I feel right now. Thank you to every single person who attended, supported, helped behind the scenes, performed, created, served food, shared smiles, lent a hand, or simply showed up on the day.

To our musicians, food vendors, artists, volunteers, and everyone involved — thank you. Every little piece that each of you brought helped create something truly special.

I was completely overwhelmed by the response and the way everyone came together. Watching our community connect, support one another, and share in such a beautiful space genuinely brought a tear to my eye at the end of the day. Moments like these remind me why I do this.

I’d also like to give a special thank you to my beautiful friends, @imhayleygreen and @sophietje23 whom are now in Europe. We started this journey together a few years ago, and it has grown into something I could never have imagined. Through that experience, I’ve found the confidence to step out and create on my own, while continuing to promote sustainability, slow fashion, thrifting, community connection and ofcourse supporting and celebrating the amazing talented artists and musicians we surround ourselves with — things that are incredibly important to me.

This past week has been a slow one for me, but the love, support, and kindness I’ve felt from my friends has absolutely melted my heart.

I am overflowing with gratitude, love, and joy. So honestly, thank you to everyone who was involved in making Sunday such a success. Thank you for believing in a vision, for showing up, and for helping create something that feels so much bigger than just a clothes market.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. ✨💛

Thank you all so much for the amazing support. With just under 2 weeks to go, we are now completely sold out!
Honestly, that is pretty damm dope!
As the event is now at capacity, there will be no door sales available. Please be wary of scammers trying to sell tickets!

Thank you again for grabbing tickets and backing what we do. By coming along, you’re not only supporting the artists, sound crew, and venue, you’re also helping create a beautiful community of safe spaces, aroha and dance floor magic.

We can’t wait to party with you all.
