Season 1 of Soul Sundays, Ep 3: Juneteenth/Father’s Day ❤️ Thank you to everyone who joined us for another episode of Soul Sundays! It was a beautiful night full of music, art, and connection at every point of the bridge. We danced and vibed over the Kansas river to the sweet sounds of @dj_cyns @gnozisbeats @grampa_han @thegabriellexoxo @anthorange while watching the setting sun of the summer solstice. If you missed this one, we’ll be back July 5th with more music, more local vendors, and the opportunity to meet your new best friend. ❤️

Slowing down takes on new meaning this summer at “Soul Sundays” on the Bridge. ✨ This past Memorial Day Weekend weekend, the NLKC crew pulled up to the first installment of “Soul Sundays” at Rock Island Bridge and it was an absolute vibe. Between the perfect weather, unique views of downtown, the analog market finds (so many awesome vendors!) and the tracks spinning, we couldn’t have asked for a better evening. 🌆🎧 Our new friends have put in some serious work to make Rock Island Bridge into a beautiful installation that will make the West Side come alive this summer. If you haven’t see it yet, we highly encourage you to check it out!! Missed out? Don’t worry! Soul Sunday will be back around the first and third Sunday of the month! 👉 https://rockislandkc.com/event/soul-sundays-analog-market/ #RockIslandBridge #KansasCity #NightlifeKC #SoulSundays #GoldenHour

KC. WOW. 😳 Last night was truly incredible. Thank you to everyone who came out to @rockislandkc for the very first Soul Sundays Analog Market!!! The amount of love we saw and were shown was nothing short of amazing. It’s just the two of us running this market, but it wouldn’t exist without every single one of you. The vendors who took a chance on us, hauling their gear up that switchback and across the river and handling the sun like champs (we’ve got ideas for next time). The audio and visual artists and teams for bringing people to another time and space, and their flexibility as we figured out the venue together. @dj_cyns @gnozisbeats @blooderfly98 @xx_stup_xx @cafecaphe @jackienguyenx @fk_menace for believing in the vision and lending their voices, time, energy & connections, when they’re already hustling on a million things. We can’t WAIT to hear your ideas for the next one. @ezpedicabs and @muckymarky for the shuttles, the gear hauls, and the immense amount of joy you’ve brought to the city. Soul Sundays wrap soon 👀 MASSIVE thank you to @extendobrendo @grampa_pothos @cpaigeram @savewithalex , Rob and Cody of @kc.vintageflea , CJ & @w177a , and all of our other friends and fam who helped lift, load, direct, hydrate, and support in any and every way possible. We’d probably still be on the bridge packing without you 😅 To @crissydastrup @michaelzellerkc for trusting us with the bridge and letting us dream big. Just you WAIT until you hear our other ideas! And to you KC. For sharing and talking about Soul Sundays and showing up with the BEST energy. We joked that last night must have been what the first Woodstock felt like. If you couldn’t make it last night, this is only the beginning. We’ll be back at it every 2 weeks for the rest of the year 😏 Mark your calendars for June 7th, 5-10 PM, and come relive the magic or experience it for the first time. All our love, kate & Skiggs @ktea.ryn @skiggity

Discovered a cool new event in KC on the spankin' new bridge @rockislandkc @skiggity and @cafecaphe hosted @rockislandkc_sundays a fun new vintage event where you unplug and take in your surroundings right on into the sunset. A great way to end the week. 🎧 Vinyl records playing from @dj_cyns on one end of the bridge, and @fk_menace and @gnozisbeats covering the other end. No shortage of good tunes. 🛒. Tons of unique vendors, I wish I could have had time to meet them all. A couple I did get photos with were @slooth_brand and @crownculturev. Down to earth, solid folks all of them. Appreciate everyone who came together to pull this off!
