Safe to say my first concert set the bar pretty high. 🎶✨

Do you remember who you saw for your first concert?

A year ago, I was playing drums in my room.

Today, I got to play a Forrest Frank song in front of a live audience at our local farmers market. 🥁🙌

And next week... I’ll be seeing Forrest Frank in concert for the very first time.

God is so good.

My first big concert is next week... and it’s going to be a Forrest Frank concert! 🙌

I’ve been listening to his new song on repeat, so I had to learn it on the drums before the show. 🥁

Can’t wait to sing every word with thousands of other fans next week!

Who’s seen Forrest Frank live before?

Most 7-year-olds aren’t competing in Battle of the Bands...

But my friends and I got to!🤘

After months of rehearsals, we got to perform on a real stage and compete against bands of all ages.

And at the end of the day... we came home with:

🏆 Best Elementary Age Band
🏆 Best Audience Reaction

What an awesome experience.

This is one I’ll never forget. 🥁

Who would’ve thought at Battle the bands and little Zayden band the “Duck Face” (very entertaining to watch) won “best audience reaction” and “best elementary age band”. How cool is that!🥰❤️😎

100 followers already?! 🤯

To celebrate, I took on my first follower milestone challenge: playing one-handed. 🥁

I think milestone challenges are officially a thing now.

What should I do when we hit 250 followers?

Drop your craziest (but possible 😅) drum challenge in the comments, and I might pick yours for the next milestone.

From age 3 to age 7...

More lessons.
More practice.
More drumsticks.
More noise. 😆

Somewhere along the way, drumming became more than just something I loved to do. It became part of who I am.

Looking back, it’s amazing to see how much can change in four years.

And the best part? I’m just getting started.

What song should I learn next?

You’ve seen some of the drumming... now it’s time to meet the drummer.

We asked Zayden a few questions about music, life, and some very important topics like breakfast food. 🥞

Have a question for Zayden?

Drop it in the comments below! 👇

We’ll pick some of our favorites and film another Q&A reel with his answers.

This is where it all started.

Before the big drum set...
Before the shows...
Before I even knew what a band was...

I was just a little kid who loved banging on stuff. 💥

These videos are from when I was 9 months to 3 years old. Looking back, I think the love of drumming was there from the very beginning.

Some things never change.

A lot has changed since those early videos... but one thing hasn’t:

I still love being behind the drum kit. 🥁

Whether I’m practicing at home, learning a new song, or playing with my band, there’s nowhere I’d rather be.

This is me today, doing what I love most. 🤘
