After 2 weeks in NICU... we finally brought Lyric home tonight. 😭🏡💖

No one can ever prepare you for seeing your baby connected to monitors, wires, and feeding tubes. Leaving her at the hospital every day was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. The heartache was overwhelming, and the mum guilt was very real. 😔💕

Through it all, God has carried us, given us strength, and reminded us that we were never walking this journey alone. 🙏❤️

We have also been incredibly blessed by the most amazing family and friends. Over the past two weeks, so many of you brought us meals, checked in on us, prayed for us, and simply reminded us that we were loved. It may seem like a small gesture, but not having to worry about grocery shopping or cooking while spending every day at the hospital made a world of difference. We will never forget your kindness. 🥹🍽️

A special thank you to Nue, Kim, Faye, Shannon, Petra, Sian, my wonderful in-laws Stewart & Wendy for constantly checking in on us, my parents for all the advice and support, and my sister Lashe and cousin Amber for every phone call and encouragement. ❤️

Our little girl is finally home, and our hearts are so full. Thank you to everyone who prayed, sent messages, and supported us through one of the toughest seasons of our lives. We're so grateful. 🩷🏡👶✨

🩷We were SO spoilt last night by Tata Motors, a chauffeur collected us from home & we spent an Incredible night at the 5star Signature in Umhlanga, the food was top class & this time the social media team was on the other side of the camera 🤪 Im enjoying this alone time before baby arrives in a few weeks ☺️

I see a ton of bands here in Austria and hop over to Germany whenever a must-see act rolls through. From A-tier headliners to rising newcomers, every show has its own magic, but it would hit different if some of South Africa’s current heavy hitters shared those stages. 🤯

This isn’t a ranking, just my personal pick of SA metal bands I truly believe could tear up European stages. 🇿🇦🔥

Hopefully one day…

Thank you Irish ☘️ you are always such a sick time with such awesome people🤘🏽it was epic to see some old faces and meet some new ones. A lot of sweat was shared but it was beautiful. All we needed was 1 or 2 extra big Metal 🤘🏽 Fans🤣

Thanks to our pals @ghast_band @sunken_state @noclosure.hc @walk_these_skies for putting this lil shindig together! Can’t wait to share a stage with you homies again♥️

Stumbled by Your Support❤️

Since our first post to inform the community, the wave of love from the South African music scene has been completely overwhelming. We are honestly stumbling over our words trying to express how thankful we are for the support you have shown us. It is the only thing keeping our heads up right now.

How You Can Help

- Donate: No amount is too small. Every Rand helps us get Aiden back behind the kit and back to work.
- Share: Keep the story moving. The more eyes we have on the second-hand market, the harder it is for this gear to be moved.
