'Fellows' is on view through Sunday, September 13th. This exhibition, part of DVAA's 50th Anniversary celebrations, surveys eight years of visual artists who have been supported through our Individual Artist Fellowship.

Formerly known as “Artists in the Community,” the fellowship is a New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) regrant program administered by DVAA to support artists living and working in Sullivan County. Bringing together photography, painting, collage, sculpture, drawing, and interdisciplinary practices, the exhibition reflects the breadth of artistic inquiry sustained within the region.

Artists in the exhibition include Bobbie Oliver (2019 Fellow), Kaitlyn Danielson (2021 Fellow), Kathleen Anderson (2021 Fellow), Amy Yoes (2022 Fellow), Bobby Abate (2023 Fellow), Kelley Simons (2024 Fellow), Douglas Shindler (2024 Fellow), Hai Zhang (2025 Fellow), and Kelly O’Brien (2026 Fellow).

Submissions for 2027 Individual Artist Fellowships will open mid-October.

Join us this Saturday, August 1st to raise a glass to the opening of our two new 50th Anniversary Exhibitions: '(T)Here' and 'Fellows'. Refreshments will be served.

About '(T)Here'
Presented in conjunction with DVAA’s 50th Anniversary, (T)Here is an exhibition that contemplates individual and collective memory of place, and how the way in which an artist shapes and interprets their surroundings can serve as a lasting record of that place.

The three artists featured in the exhibition – Francis Cape, Jorge Colombo, and Brea Souders, all full or part-time residents of Narrowsburg – each construct a vantage point through which we are invited to consider how one shapes an understanding, a sense of (T)Here.

About 'Fellows'
Fellows surveys eight years of visual artists who have been supported through the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance’s Individual Artist Fellowship. Formerly known as “Artists in the Community,” the fellowship is a New York State Council on the Arts regrant program administered by DVAA to support artists living and working in Sullivan County. Bringing together photography, painting, collage, sculpture, drawing, and interdisciplinary practices, the exhibition reflects the breadth of artistic inquiry sustained within the region.

Artists in the show include Bobbie Oliver (2019 Fellow), Kaitlyn Danielson (2021 Fellow), Kathleen Anderson (2021 Fellow), Amy Yoes (2022 Fellow), Bobby Abate (2023 Fellow), Kelley Simons (2024 Fellow), Douglas Shindler (2024 Fellow), Hai Zhang (2025 Fellow), and Kelly O’Brien (2026 Fellow).

Join us this Saturday, June 13th, from 4-6pm to toast the opening of two of our 50th Anniversary exhibitions. Both exhibitions will be on view until July 26th.

'One For All'
Alliance Gallery
'One For All' will be nothing short of a visual spectacle. Presented as part of the 50th Anniversary celebrations, the DVAA’s 1st floor Alliance Gallery will be transformed into a visual toast to the organization’s first 50 years. Artists from across the region have been invited to submit one work (up to 20”x20”) to be part of this historic exhibition. Installed salon style from floor to ceiling, the gallery will be an explosive celebration of the region’s vibrant and diverse artistic community.

'Revolutions'
Loft Gallery
In recognition of not only the 50th anniversary of DVAA’s founding (a revolutionary act of its own), but the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and the revolutionary power the arts can hold in shaping societies, 'Revolutions' brings together artists responding to moments of upheaval and renewal. Spanning a wide range of media and perspectives, the exhibition surveys how change takes root and how artists can lift voices and shape our understanding of historic moments.

The exhibition, curated by Ariel Shanberg and Tanner Simon, features works by Eileen Bernstein, Seth Carnes, RP Coleman, Shari Drewett, Laurie Guzda, Katie Hovencamp, Christopher Johnson, Richard Klein, Liz Kolansky, William M Landau, Claudine Luchsinger, Douglas Shindler, & Susan Weinthaler.

*Please note that the Gallery & Shop hours are extended for the summer season:
