NYC🖤 Well, y’all already know I’m crying while I post this. Not even 72 hours in the city, but I saw some of the most influential people in my life, in one space. Saturday night at @oppabistro was a dream. So many times, I looked around the room and saw the people I love, from over the past 25 years, most meeting for the first time but all dancing and laughing and it was like we’d all known each other forever✨ O am SO thankful & SO blessed to be given this opportunity to play in the Big Apple, at a spot that instantly felt like home♥️ Thank you to OPPA, thank you to Ash, thank you to the special people in my life that came together to make my dream come true🙏🏼 I love you. #keeptheravealive #housemusicalllifelong

Boat jumps & Backflips in Paradise.

I promised myself over 10 years ago I would learn to backflip.

I still remember the exact day. It was when I lived at home with my parents. We had a trampoline in the back yard that I would always jump on. I loved it. I would even push it next to my dads garage and ride my skateboard off the roof onto the trampoline.

I've never even attempted a backflip until now. I've simply been too scared.

With a front flip you can duck your head. Something about giving up that feeling of control and being so vulnerable as you go over backwards waiting to spot the landing.

That promise has haunted me as I grow older. So I've decided it's time I start keeping those promises.

This is a rough attempt off of a rocking boat in the ocean with a mashed up leg that I havent even talked about yet (details soon) but I consider it a good start.

Here's to the most important of promises.

The ones we make to ourselves.
