LA BABY (THAT’S RIGHT) IS HERE!!! 💙⚾️🌴🔥
A few weeks ago, I crossed paths with Las Mil Amores (The LA Twins) at a house-party-style pool tournament hosted by @jacob_rodriguez95 that @latiger7 took me to (which she WON, BTW! 😂🏆).
Talk about SERENDIPITY! As we were leaving, we ran into the Twins, instantly vibed, and exchanged info.
I’d been seeing these girls all over the internet with their DIE-HARD LA Dodgers posts, and they always cracked me up! 😂 I was instantly inspired to make a record with them.
I had this creative vision of blending Freestyle, Booty Bass, and classic LA lowrider flavor into an anthem celebrating the city I was born and raised in.
Busted out the MPC, programmed some drums, started writing, and invited the Twins into the LAB! Their energy, humor, professionalism, and work ethic were incredible. We had a BLAST! 🔊
Once I finished arranging, I hit up my childhood friend, Grammy Award-winning mixing engineer @_toddrobinson , to sprinkle some special sauce on the track. And man, he brought that EXTRA CRISP! Much love, brother! 🙏🏽
100% INDEPENDENT! Created, produced, and released through my own imprint, FRESH BEAT FLAVOR. 💛🖤
This one’s for the Dodgers, ALL our LA sports teams, our music, our culture, and everyone who LOVES LOS ANGELES and the greater LA community!
To everyone wondering what the heck we were cooking up in that viral studio video… LOL! 😂
WELL, HERE IT IS!!!

¡Un saludo para toda la banda de Kumbia Net! 🔊@djbsyde breaks down the "Rebajada" movement, the chopped and screwed of the Cumbia world, and gives flowers to the producers keeping the pitch low and the energy high.
