Foresters have a name for it. A tree falls, rots down, and the next generation roots in what’s left of it. They call it a nurse log.

What died is feeding what’s standing.

Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
-John 12:24

New Creation

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
2 Cor. 5:17

Kainos is the Greek word in that verse. Not new referring to time— new as in identity. Not the old thing repaired.
That’s where the name came from, and this is the only piece in Vol. 1 that sits outside the three chapters. It’s what they’re all pointing at.

Black or heather grey. 10 oz fleece Sweatshirts, oversized on purpose.

Early access Friday, 7pm CT. Subscribers get 10% off.

vol. 1 — the refiner

Three chapters, one season.

Dawn is mercy that arrives before you've earned it. Valley is the fire that separates what's real from what only looked like it. Restore is what gets rebuilt afterward — not a return to who you were.

Subscribers shop first on 11 September at 7pm CT, with 10% off. Public drop on the 18th.
