Two years ago, I still don’t know why, the legend @kennysummit made a contest, listened to one of my mixes, and invited me to headline at his special club @compactdisco831.

It was one of those nights sharing the booth with @dj_loloh_ and @dj_ed.e that I remember as if it was yesterday. The energy, the crowd vibrating and dancing in such an incredible way, it was special.

When I moved to Monterey, I didn’t hesitate to reach out to Kenny, and without a second thought, he gave me a monthly spot at his club as a resident, and the rest is history.

Extended sets, opening for major DJs like @gavin.hardkiss, @iamworthy, @charlesfeelgood, and the support of the locals who always made me feel like a superstar.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the other excellent resident DJs who are now good friends: @dj_loloh_, @dj_ed.e, @djchristerry, @jgillmusic, @shelostcontrol.la, @djivan831, and the only one @djtraps.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for a memorable year ❤️🪩

Mirrors Vol. 130 | Chris Terry
@djchristerry
🪞
Joining the Mirrors roster this month we welcome Chris Terry to the series, serving up blends of organic house and deep, soulful grooves, enjoy!
🪞
“Originally from Atlanta, Georgia and currently based in San Antonio, Texas, Chris Terry continues on his journey as a selector and dance-floor maestro. He is consistently digging deep in his library for that perfect record that properly fits the current space he’s in. Chris is no stranger of extended sets, often packing a room from start to finish - always finding his sweet spot nestled within a proper club setting. Blending soulful and tribal grooves with traditional house music, Chris Terry is pushing his sound forward and expanding creatively in the mix - sonically reminding people where it all began.”

Some clips from early in the night. Always a pleasure having @djrickpreston return for his monthly residency. @djtraps and I jumped on for a bit and we had our cupcake ritual to celebrate @djchristerry birthday. Good times.
