What if the opportunity you’ve been waiting for is waiting for you to stop waiting for the perfect moment? 👀

I didn’t plan for my first episode of Overcoming FOMO to happen like this, but when Grammy Award winner Kabaka Pyramid agreed to reason with me after Pass the Aux: The Living Experience, I seized the moment! 🎙️

Sometimes, overcoming FOMO isn’t about what you’re missing out on, but what the world could be missing because you’re afraid to begin.

Because how dare you fear what is meant for you?

This is just a glimpse of our conversation. Watch the full episode of Overcoming FOMO on YouTube! 🌿

TIL next time!

It feels like only yesterday that we gathered for the first Caribbean Cultural Diplomatic Experience.

For the last three years, my pre-Culture Con tradition has been attending this beautiful experience hosted by @industry360 founded by @tenilleclarke1 in partnership with @culturecon.

3 years ago, a smaller group of us were invited around the table for the inaugural dinner. Today, it has grown to become an official Culture Con Week event. The intention was to see the contribution of Caribbean creatives honoured in the way they deserve, but also in a way that feels authentic to us.

I loved this years theme “From Soil to Soul: A Caribbean Market Feast”, we were encouraged to wear bright colours and I got to rock my beautiful jumpsuit by Vincentian designer @kimmysticclo and earrings by Grenadian jewelry designer @patois_creative. My netted market bag is repurposed wedding decor. 🤭

Tenille, I am so incredibly proud of you. I know the commitment you have made to continue celebrating Caribbean excellence. This year those we know and love were awarded such as @thatnursecancook, @brandonblackwoodnyc, @angelahunte @tallpree1 and so many more, to the deeply heartfelt moments remembering those who are no longer here with us, including your greatest inspiration, your father. 🙏🏾

As one of the OG Diplomats, I’ve had the privilege of watching #CCDE grow. I’ve seen the people who have gathered around these tables, the connections that have been made and the beautiful energy and vibe (thanks to our hosts @tennisrollandtea_ and @djdanglez) that is shared when Caribbean people from different islands come together and celebrate as one.

So I’m sharing the raw clips from the 2026 dinner because, honestly, they say it best.
And boy, as usual, did Grenada represent! P.s in true Grenadian style mi husband thief them people coconut decor and put it in mi market bag. Allyuh have no behavior. 🤣💪🏾🇬🇩
