✨More than a spoonful of sugar.✨

It’s been a month since Mary Poppins closed, and yeah… I’m still not over it. 🥹

This one was different. We all know theater can come with its fair share of drama (onstage and off), but not this time. This cast and creative team were pure joy, pure talent, pure support. We laughed, we lifted each other up, we made magic; and it felt so damn good.

And then there was Miss Andrews 😈 She stretched me in the best way. I didn’t always love the terrified looks on kids’ faces when they met me in the lobby afterward 😅, but I loved getting to sink into a character so completely different from myself, and finding ways to make a big impact in a short amount of time.

I’ll carry this one with me forever: the camaraderie, the giggles backstage, the way everyone showed up with their whole heart. Thank you for reminding me what theater can be when it’s built on joy instead of competition.

Cheers to all of you. 💜 I’m forever grateful.

Wow. What a show. These are just some of the behind the scenes shenanigans but This has by far been one of the most memorable shows I have ever had the privilege to be a part of. From Flying Kites to fighting Nannies, who could ask for more! In all seriousness, I just want to say Thank you to all who attended this show, the production team, our cast and crew! We could not have made such magic without you! 🥰 Happy Closing. #communitytheatre #castrovalley #marypoppinsthemusical #theatre
