A couple weeks later, and the impact of Thick Chick Flea Market is still being felt. 🤎 Our vendors brought the GOODS. We had everything out there, from handmade products and vintage finds to beauty, fashion, accessories, art, and custom creations, every booth and owner had their own story… & the best part? You could see the person behind the brand in everything they created.! The market may have been weeks ago, but the connections, exposure, sales, and community continue to make a lasting impression. Two markets down, more cities loading…👀

Two weeks. Across multiple states. No days off. It started in DC with our full company recharge at @linkstrategic — every teammate, from every corner of the world, in one room for three days. There’s something that happens when people who genuinely care about the same things finally get to share the same space that no screen can replicate. We worked hard, connected harder, and left with something that felt like real momentum. I flew home that night already full. The next morning I was back in the car heading to @hobynceast . My first time ever facilitating a seminar. Somewhere on that drive, my phone rang — @cthoby needed a last-minute facilitator. I booked the flight from the passenger seat before I even made it to campus, not totally sure what I was saying yes to, but saying yes anyway. What followed was 72 hours of watching students find their footing, claim their voices, and build something genuine with complete strangers. I left NC East different than I arrived. I also left with a sinus infection. I flew to Connecticut anyway. Still sick, still running on fumes, somehow still present for every moment of it. And it hit just as hard as the first one did. Especially since CT HOBY was my first volunteer site after my ambassador year. HOBY keeps finding ways to teach me the same lesson in different rooms. Show up. Even when it’s inconvenient. Even when you didn’t plan for it. Even when you’re breathing through your mouth on a flight you booked four days ago. The experience finds you when you’re ready to let it.
