So on a Monday night, @fullcirclekitchenandsound & @skratchnoodles had their first ever open tables scratch session. I was originally just gonna be a spectator, but the homie @ab_loon convinced me to jump in a little. Was really nervous and felt really humble surrounded by all these heavy hitters that were tearin’ it up, but took it all in as a learning experience and just wanted to intake all the sheer skills that was in the building.
And like Sunday, it was good to see a bunch of people I haven’t seen in a hot minute, and even some people that I’ve only known during our Sunday Sounds Twitch streaming days. Needless to say after these past couple of days, the social battery of this old man needs to recharge 🪫🪫🪫

Just a brief reintroduction and some quick history in light of the upcoming 2026 DMC USA Scratch tournament bracket.

I’m popping back for a limited time only, and honored to have been selected into my 9th USA DJ battle final. 30 years on/off poured into this beloved art, culture, and community. Proudly call Queens and Los Angeles (county 😏) home. Quick flex but i digress.

Shoutout to my brothers @djiqhandroidz and @djprolifix for the endless inspiration and motivation, truly some of our greatest modern generation reps of LA/US turntablism. Hard to believe it was 10 years ago when we achieved the Los Angeles sweep of the DMC USA scratch finals (long before it became an international category of @dmcdjchamps ). Time flies and we’re all on different paths with our time and families, but it would’ve been super dope to had done this at the world level if the opportunity was available then. 🥂👑👑

Special shoutout to all my fellow vets/champs that placed in this competition from years past: @djmrvibe @rtst @djronix @djlazyboy @loushort925 @dj_dondon @dj_rayted_r @dopez1200 @djspectakulah @djknockers @deejaydman and big love to our LA brethren for the repeat sweep in 2024: @djflipflop @jreignltp @danwhizle 🫡🍻

Massive thanks to the queen Christie Z @christiezpresents for holding down DMC USA for so many years and launching this category, kuya Dave @djdstyles for helping develop the initial category concept/rules, king @noisicerp and Ant @antriks for taking the helm and elevating it to where it is today (@battleave Cut2Cut lives on 😉⚔️👊)

Also, don’t be mad that it’s California against the rest. It’s BEEN like this for a LONG minute; bone up on y’all history lessons, and best of luck to my fellow brethren/transplants.

Can’t wait to see y’all at @beatjunkieios soon.
Keep sleeping

To all the DJs…

What is a DJ if he can’t scratch?
What is a MC if he can’t rap?
What is a beat without a live clap?
Well, I can do it all, baby, just like that!
