9 years ago, I got married to my best friend, @djeboe. When I messaged him on the red and black site (iykyk), it was impulsive. I didn't expect to marry a booty call. But he stole my heart.

We've been through the worst parts of my life together. He's held my hand through numerous ER visits for psych reasons. He went with me to Battle Creek when my mom died.

He's been there for the best, too. He goes with me to (most of) my favorite concerts and taught me where to wait for musicians after the show. He took me to Pokémon NAIC. He supports me in all of my endeavors. He is my biggest cheerleader and my best friend (besides Pika).

Gary, I love you with all my heart. Thank you for being mine. You're my favoritest favorite.

Fuck yes, I made it! I made it 60 days sober. I am, for possibly the first time in recent memory, proud of myself. It’s genuinely not been easy. I have absolutely wanted to give up multiple times, often in a day.
But, I have support. I have people in my life who come through for me in my dark moments. I have a beautiful cat. I have a loving husband. I have my core friends. I have old friends, especially from The Hero’s Guild. I have new friends through Pagans in Recovery.
I have 60 days. My days. I didn’t realize how much I had given up my life to my addiction. Now my days are my own to do with what I want, even if I’m still learning what that is.
Thank you to everyone who has stepped up and given me love. I am so incredibly grateful.

Took Megwin to @lynd_fruit_farm with @djeboe and took a bunch of pictures. Best day I've had in a while after a pretty bad slump.

This little boy is so adorable. No lie, he gets up and lays on me and puts his face next to my face so our cheeks are touching. It was so awesome. I love Pika so much. #catsofinstagram #catsofohio #mrwetchin #sirfluffernutter

Meet our new kitty! He is 2 years old and a rambunctious little boy. He likes to flop and get belly rubs, which were my deal breakers. Literally almost cried when he flopped the first time and again when I put my hand on his tubby little belly. He needs neutered still which means we get to bring him home Friday, but I'm already ecstatic. Name TBD depending on if he "knows" what was on his forms. If we do give him a new name, it will most likely be Pika, short for Pikachu, of course.
