Dreams don’t work unless you do…It’s what I tattooed on me at the start of 2025 ,it’s all I been doing since
and helping other ppl work towards theirs. Im not making this post for any other reason than to just reflect on the good things I witnessed happen this year.
Thank you to everyone who helped me throughout, including my mother and grandma who support all the creative and business shit I conduct under their roof. The noise complaints from the council will be worth it one day..For context: first slide is me finishing the first beat I made on my Akai Mpc, I had just spent all my student finance money on it in one go, after the first stupid purchase (which you never saw my teeth again after). I had only been working on DAW’s and live instruments before this, so it was a new skill that took a lot of time. It became my thing and I saw it as a way forward to experiment with my own style. My lecturer, whom I would often talk about shared interest in Slum Village and Dj premier, he lent me his ‘Dilla Time’ book. I think he knew I would put the knowledge to use. So thanks @itsnickbrewer for aiding my curiosity, would love to email you some beats now that I got this mpc ting on lock. That goes on to my next point, @sonderthechef If it wasn’t for the MPC’s we probably never started hangin out again, bcos u ghosted everyone after u left school but I’m glad you managed to find your passion in 2025 bro after all the hours you work in that hot kitchen you hate so much, you deserve that 60 and S950 I needed to be there when you got it off Brian jus to witness you going to the next level g pls don’t quit doing it whatever happens don’t slow down…Y…we must’ve bought like 100 records between us that one time crazy we ain’t use like 80% of it but we kept buying more and more idky. Somehow, I graduated from @nhamusic when I never attended for half the course but I enjoyed my time there, just wanted to prioritise my time outside the class room. If it wasn’t for that place I wouldn’t have ran into @gaffa.nzg on the induction day first thing you did was show me your lockscreen. It was Pharrell, he was also on mine, I knew then we were going to be good business partners. To be co
