POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

There's been a lot of festival talk this week so I thought we'd join in...but I'm a slightly more positive way.

How about being transported back to one of the stand out sets at one of the stand out festivals of the summer?

Sounds good right?

Well this week we're doing exactly that!

We have a live recording of @theonlysammydeandj from the amazing @daresbury_festival on this week's @moovement_music radio show on @cheshiresmix56

If it's festival energy you're after, then you know what to do.

This Saturday, 9-10, tune in, get your face glitter and wellies on, drink out of plastic cups and have a good old festival shimmy!

Big show!

Big weekend!

Required big commitment!

How much more commitment can you give than by doing your own dramatic stunts for show promo? 😱🤣

@frissonreys is giving us the guest mix on this week's @moovement_music radio show on @cheshiresmix56

That's assuming he hasn't permanently damaged himself for his art!

Tune in Saturday night 9 - 10pm to find out 😁

A little Ibiza photo dump (there’s gonna be about 10 of these!!😂) 🌴✨

So grateful for the incredible opportunities, memories and people I’ve had the chance to work with and play for — from FML Events to El Kiddo events at Bam Bu Ku.

Huge thank you to everyone who has supported me, put me forward and opened doors along the way. Especially Mister Jones from Funk My Life, and Soraya Vivian — I genuinely appreciate you both so much and you two have kickstarted my dream. 🙏

Here’s to more music, more memories and more Ibiza magic. ❤️‍🔥

Well come on, how many more versions of construction could you have thought of?

I thought that a well "constructed" post! 🤣

What more do you need to know? @okenstrukzion bringing us this week's guest mix on the @moovement_music radio show on @cheshiresmix56

You probably know by now that we only bring you the good stuff.

But in case you didn't...

We only bring you the good stuff!

Saturday 9-10pm

Tune in... it's a good un!

Here we go again!

Another fantastic bit of open decks action at the OWT LOUD session down at @theunderbank tonight!

Are you coming OWT to play? (See what we did there?)

Made me chuckle anyway 🤣

@deavall_official is back on the @moovement_music radio show this week on @cheshiresmix56 Saturday night 9-10pm.

Well, sometimes you do things for old times sake and DJ Deavall is one of us old timers haha!

Opportunities are all around us.

Often we find one opportunity reveals other slightly unexpected opportunities that we didn't realise were there until we took the first one, and so on and so forth.

This raises a few questions...

1 do we recognise them?

2 do we value them?

3 are we brave enough to take them?

4 what's stopping us?

Quite often it's fear. Fear of failure. Fear of looking silly. Fear of change. Fear of consequences.

Yet we all know almost all of the things we worry about never actually happen!

So if you want something, do what you can to overcome those fears, take the opportunities when they arrise and see what good things happen!

Well, that ended up much deeper than I planned haha!

@moovement_music radio show, @cheshiresmix56
This Saturday 9-10pm @djgraem in the mix!

All because one opportunity lead to another...

I mean really?

How are us mere mortals supposed to compete with the many talents of the chiseled @kris.h.dj ?

Is it fair?

Is the playing field level?

Are the odds stacked against the rest of us?

Do we have one hand tied behind our backs?

Does it makes you feel like a one legged man in a bum kicking contest?

(Feel free to add others)

Anyway @moovement_music radio show, this Saturday, 9-10pm on @cheshiresmix56

As always... it's a good un! 👊🏼😁

I tell you what, you hear some absolute nonsense online don't you?

Conspiracy theories and general nonsense from a seemingly endless army of keyboard warriors!

Let's spread a little positivity and disprove some of the rubbish with the help of @cheshiresmix56 the @moovement_music radio show and @djemmaclair instead shall we?

Did someone say girl power?

September 2009 - I arrived at uni and emailed the student DJ society asking if they would help teach a beginner. I didn’t get a reply and I didn’t follow up.

September 2022 - I pretended to DJ at our wedding party (sorry if you were there and you’re just finding this out)

February 2023 - I finally took the plunge and did a beginner’s DJ course with the world class @djkhanfu at @djgymofficial in Manchester. I finished my last lesson with a dodgy mix. DJ KhanFu joked “next stop Ibiza!” and we laughed.

July 2025 - the next stop was Ibiza.

And this year we go again. None of this would have been possible without @misterjones_official and the amazing community of DJs that make up @funkmylife_events. These people gave me the confidence and opportunity to play and nothing has been the same since.

Make sure you give this super talented line-up a follow:
