Still feeling so grateful after this year’s Wedding Open House. 🤍

A huge thank you to every vendor who came out, shared their work, met with couples, and helped make the day feel so special.

One of our favourite parts of hosting weddings at Whispering Springs is the community that has grown around us. So many of the vendors we work with started as local businesses we admired and have since become friends, collaborators, and such an important part of the experience we’re able to offer couples.

We love getting to support these incredible businesses, recommend them to our couples, and watch them grow alongside us year after year.

To everyone who took part in this year’s Open House: thank you for bringing your talent, creativity, and energy to the forest. We’re so lucky to work with you. 🤍

Megan & Gavin’s day was one of those weddings that just had everything.

An absolutely beautiful day at Whispering Springs, surrounded by the forest, their closest people, and so much genuine emotion. From the quiet moments getting ready in the tents, to their ceremony beneath the towering trees, the flower-petal celebration coming back down the aisle, and then that perfect evening light to finish off portraits, the entire day just felt effortless, emotional, and incredibly fun.

And then there’s Megan & Gavin themselves.

When we first met and chatted, it genuinely felt like we were already longtime friends. From an epic engagement session in Orillia, to seeing them again at the Whispering Springs Open House, every time we got together felt less like meeting with clients and more like catching up with friends.

So when their wedding day finally arrived, being there to capture it felt that much more special.
Beautiful people, incredible scenery, a packed dance floor, and one seriously good night.

Megan & Gavin, it was such a pleasure being part of this one.

A day that felt effortlessly elegant, light, and full of movement; from the soft, flowing details to a celebration filled with so much joy. There was just something so special about Marissa & Alex’s wedding at Whispering Springs.
These two have such an incredible story, and getting to spend the day with them, their families and friends made it even better.

There were so many personal touches throughout the day, including Alex learning some Afrikaans for the wedding, which was pretty awesome.

From the ceremony tucked into the forest, to an absolutely beautiful evening and that perfect Whispering Springs sunset, this was one of those weddings that was just so much fun to photograph from beginning to end.
