Narrative on the piece:
Beneath a cosmic sky, a little girl plays among toys and pomegranates, building a world from her imagination.
At her feet, the blocks spell “I AM”—a simple declaration that carries the weight of an entire identity. Before the world tells her who she should become, she begins with the most fundamental truth: I am.
The building blocks represent the beliefs, dreams, and choices from which we construct our lives. The pomegranates surrounding her speak to abundance and the infinite possibilities held within a single life—each fruit containing countless seeds, each seed carrying the potential for something new.
She is both child and creator, playing at the edge of the mystery of existence.
The painting asks us to remember something we often lose as we grow older:
We are not only discovering who we are. We are continually creating who we become.
And everything begins with the quiet, powerful words:
