This Holiday season, Hermanos organized toy drives and led events to help our communities in need 🎄

🔱 New Jersey: @lul_newark & @lul_stevens had their Annual Brown & Gold Christmas Toy Drive 🧸, raising over $4,500 and giving the gifts to organizations such as La Casa de Don Pedro & Mujeres MAHS in Newark and the Housing Authority in Hoboken.

🔱 Maryland: @lulphi had their annual Noche de Estrellas Toy Drive 🎁. They raised over $3,100 for toys and, partnering with @pg_irc, directly delivered them to undocumented families impacted by ICE.

🔱 Harlem, NY: In Harlem, Hermanos of @ualbany_lambdas , @pi_lambdas , @cuse_lambdas , @plattsburgh_lambdas , & @lul_gammaalpha_ passed out toys to children and gave meals to those in need.

🔱 Queens, NY: Hermanos from @lulboldbeta and @lul_gammalpha_ volunteered at the Annual Toy Giveaway organized by the business of one of our Board of Directors @djkingbori

🔱 Ithaca, NY: @lulalphachapter had their Brown & Gold Christmas Toy and Clothing Drive, raising over $500 for the Ithaca community.

🔱 Perú 🇵🇪 : our Hermano led efforts with @parasiempre_peru went to the city of Abancay and partnered up with Cebe La Salle, a school for neurodivergent children. Hermanos donated materials to their sensory room.

On behalf of all the Hermanos, we wish everyone a Happy Holidays 🎄

📚✏️ School Supply Drive ✏️📚

During the month of November, the Hermanos of the Alpha Epsilon Chapter organized a fundraiser in support of our philanthropy. We would like to give a special shout to H. Jose Rivera for his generous donation of $100.

We would like to announce our partnership this month with an organization from the NOVA area, Give for Good. Through this collaboration we were able to double the amount of school supplies donated to Mountain View Elementary School. Thank you to Andrea Perez for helping organize the donation and hope the students make the most out of the supplies!

Providing Access to Higher Education 🔱

On April 13th, the Beta Chapter of La Unidad Latina hosted its 38th Annual Noche Dorada: Dentro De Las Estrellas ✨ The scholarship banquet was an opportunity to celebrate our community and culture, as various performances and awards illuminated the night 🌌

After thorough consideration, we were able to award the Noche Dorada scholarship to Kashif Summers Jr., a college-bound senior at Binghamton High School! 🏆 As an applicant, he presented a strong academic performance 📚, alongside his leadership and talent in extracurricular activities, while also serving his community ⛪️

A huge thank you to all those who supported & contributed to make this night possible. It was an honor to orchestrate such an eventful & historic night 🔱
