Timmy Trumpet's live energy is built different.

Follow @spinninera for daily festival culture.

Released on Spinnin’ Records back in 2017, "Al Pacino" remains a masterclass in festival pacing. Timmy Trumpet dropping it at Ultra Miami 2023 shows why this era of mainstage tracks hasn’t lost its edge.

This did not feel like a normal festival record.

Timmy Trumpet and Krunk! built ‘Al Pacino’ around tension, swagger and a larger-than-life character that the official video pushed even further.

The track takes its time creating a world before the drop arrives. Spoken delivery, cinematic atmosphere and a brass-heavy payoff make it feel less like a standard club release and more like a scene unfolding.

That personality is what separates it.

A lot of festival tracks from this period were designed to sound huge.

‘Al Pacino’ was designed to feel like someone had just entered the room.
