Control...an "ABSURD IDEA" visited by NYARA aka @jesshere____

This Instagram release has been years in the making but I’ll save that story for another post. What brought it out of the vault now?

AESTHETIC.

The group’s new self-titled album, available exclusively on @bandcamp, features a reimagined version of “ABSURD IDEA”. Hearing the song take on a new life felt like the right moment to finally let this visual loose too.

Shot entirely on a phone and directed/edited by LEONÉX (@hey_leonex), this was part of the “Leonéx Dun The Video” series, an experiment built around one simple idea:

Creation and expression matter more than budget.

Sometimes you use what you have. You follow the weird idea. You make the thing. And sometimes… years later, that thing finds its moment.

Watch “ABSURD IDEA.” Then go hear what it became.

🎧 AESTHETIC available exclusively on Bandcamp.

Introducing our judges for the EOW MC Challenge England & Scotland Final @brix_ldn on THIS SUNDAY Aug 16th. @watusi87 is one of the best MCs to come out of this country. He cut his teeth young as part of African Revolution alongside the legendary @ashebermusic who has guided so many - some of them came together to form the incredible RU1 FAM. They produced some of the most lyrically exceptional work over outstanding riddims, bridging purist Hip Hop and Roots music with a London twang in a way few have done before or since. Watusi is a driving force behind the crew, as he has been in his prolific solo output and his newest venture with @djmaintain in their crew @soul_to_speak_ and many other outlets for his creative vision. He’ll be giving a demonstration in the judges showcase, so come catch the real - GET YOUR TICKETS NOW #eowengland2026 #eodub #mcchallenge

So, when they were introduced to each other, it was a meeting of minds; a round of applause ensued.
Nothing but flavour was created from that point onwards.
It seemed natural for them both to catch the current.
Then, they took an interlude for absurd ideas.
They both wished a certain situation was over, so they pulled up a seat at the table.
Cursing and going around in circles eventually led to a story, before an outro into the world at the hands of nature.

Album out now link in bio.
