So I was lucky enough to see Repo in the theater back in January. And I really wanted to rewatch it again under better circumstances! Because no way in hell was I doing 7 seasons of Buffy in one night, even though I love that show. Anthony Stewart Head's passing is a huge blow for me. Especially given Michelle Trachtenberg and Nicholas Brendon passed recently too. So I decided to show my Mom Repo for the first time. I love this damn movie! From the catchy industrial soundtrack, the dystopian look of the movie, how bonkers the cast is, the gore being a tone of fun. Seriously, who doesn't want to watch Giles turn a guy he's dissecting into a Muppet! Also, this feels like a musical that I think works for people not into musicals. I suggest this to people, and they're surprised at how much they like it and want to check it out. Of course Anthony Head as the Repo Man: Look his episodes on Buffy where he sings? I like his voice already. The Behind Blue Eyes and Free Bird covers? Once More With Feeling being one of the best episodes of TV ever? He's got some really great songs here that just feel like that transplanted into a full movie. And it's awesome! If I haven't suggested it to you already? Watch Repo: The Genetic Opera, it's a super unique movie that i'm happy is getting more love. Even from a newer fan of it like me! Hopefully @lionsgatehorror puts that new 4K out up here in Canada. I'd gladly buy it.

One last time though, rest in peace to Anthony Stewart Head. Huge part of my childhood as a Buffy fan. Giles was always one of my favorite characters in the show. He's really good in this! And I know a bunch of Buffy fans like me are saddened we've lost another actor from arguably the best TV show ever made. Watch your favorite Buffy episodes, this, any of his other projects.
