POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
A year ago, I set out to build something New York didn’t have: a truly professional MMA organization. To me, that word means something. A professional league should be built on professional fights, not the other way around. That’s the standard we set from day one and have upheld on every card since. The amateurs who share our stage are the few who’ve earned their place among the pros.

We didn’t play it safe. We shut down Times Square for the first professionally sanctioned MMA card ever held there. Then we walked into the American Dream this past weekend, the second-largest mall in America, and hosted its first MMA event. We didn’t just perform in the Dream Live Theater. We opened it. VFL was first to take that stage.

We brought in UFC talent: Kron Gracie, Julio Arce, Sheymon Moraes, Wilson Reis, T.J. Brown, Andre Harrison, Daniel Lacerda. But I never forget where I come from. This is my hometown. Alongside the big names, we built VFL for the New York and New Jersey warriors who grind in silence, regional fighters like, Tom Picciano, Ashiek Ajim, to name a few who earned their shot.

We wouldn’t cut corners anywhere, including who calls the fights. Not talkers, legends: Frankie Edgar, Michelle Waterson, Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen, Erin Blanchfield, Jimmie Rivera, and Lou Gaudinot. Real fight IQ you can’t fake.

None of this happened alone. The fans who showed up. The fighters who left everything in the cage. The partners and my team who believed before there was anything to believe in. I see every one of you.

We achieved this in just 4 events over one year.

I’m not competing with anyone. What we built is authentic, and that’s what sets us apart. The foundation is in place. And we're just getting started. 🚀
