WHAT A PARTY!!! ☕️🪩🔥

We definitely felt that autumn chill, but we got lucky with no rain, and that didn’t stop anyone from dancing their hearts out! 💃🕺

And of course, hot coffee ☕️ and delicious hot specialty drinks from @riffraffpvd 🍹🔥 helped keep us warm!

You all brought so much energy and made our first Espressno unforgettable! ❤️ Thank you🙏

We’re introducing our talented DJs who will make our coffee rave unforgettable 🎧✨

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM — EvaNova
Miami-based, influenced by the sounds of Eastern Europe and South Asia, where she once lived, now filtered through the energy of Miami’s house and dance culture. A truly global sound, brought to the courtyard.

2:30 PM – 4:00 PM — DJ Mood Swing
A Rhode Island staple, DJ Mood Swing has become a familiar face across the local scene — including sets at PVD Fest. Bringing that homegrown Providence energy straight to the courtyard.

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM — ONEN
Straight out of Brooklyn, ONEN is a master of progressive and deep house, known for reading a room and building a groove that just keeps unfolding. For Espressno, he’ll be presenting a full vinyl set.

Friday, 9/25, 9 - midnight: we’re having another CLUB RIFFRAFF DANCE PARTY! 🪩🍸❤️🔥

These are always a dream, and this month we’ve got a couple of occasions to celebrate: Riffraff 2.0 has been kicking for three wonderful years AND Lucas is turning a very ripe old age! You do not need to care about either of those things to come dance with us tho!

Perfect music and vibes all night from Caloric and DJ Mood Swing! Perfect drinks flowing! Lights downs, furniture moved, and a packed little dance floor! Probably the only dance party where you can snag a few good books on the way out!

No cover, 21+, let’s have some fun!

Transforming open spaces… to dance floors, art installations, workshops, and spaces filled with joy! Everything we build is made possible through community support!!!

For 401Gives (TOMORROW), we’re raising $5,000 to help us continue bringing these spaces to life!

Here is what we dream of doing with $5000:
✨ 10 Artist Payments — for performances like drag artists (~$1,000)
✨ 12 Months of Paid Storage Space — to keep equipment between events (~$1,440)
✨ 7 Hours of Paid DJ Time — (~$1,050)
✨ 3 UHaul Rentals + Gas — to transport items to event sites (~$500)
✨ Supplies — to create decorations and build art with the community (~$510)
✨2 Events’ Worth of City Permits and Fees — (~$500)

And we’re dreaming bigger for 2026…

Daytime gatherings, community dinners, crafting spaces, spa days, sober events, and intergenerational experiences — spaces where queer community care can exist in every form.

If you’ve ever found joy, connection, or belonging in a Planeta space, this is your moment to help sustain it 💖

Donate through the link in our bio or visit 401gives.org/organizations/planeta-pvd

💫 Tomorrow:
• Give what you can
• Share with your people
• Help us reach folks who believe in this work

Let’s keep building this together 🌈🪩✨
