Today is a sad day for the entire Filipino blade culture. My PTK instructor, my papa, has transitioned. He taught me the art of bladed geometry and considered me one of his sons and treated me as such. I pray for his family, students, and all who he has touched. To the PTK community, let’s honor him with integrity and continue teaching the best way you can. Love is love. #filipinomartialarts #grandtuhon #ptk #rip #fma

“Some know how to fight but can’t defend themselves. Some know how to defend themselves but don’t know how to fight. Then you have those who are great and can do both very well. And now you have those who can’t do either... but talk the most cap. Drops 🎤” - Sijo Shaan

Congrats to @mad5cienti5t on his BJJ black belt. Anyone who’s ever trained with us knows just how great a teammate and human being he is. It was an honor to promote him, so make sure and congratulate him the next time you see him! #jmabkny #caioterrabjj #brooklynbjj #southbrooklynbjj #jaobjj

Sharing a throwback of our “Shadow Blade” tactics. “The blade should be felt and not seen.” Once he realizes he’s cut, it’s too late because other things occurred while the blade was being expressed! #selfdefense #martialarts #combat #staysafe

Always break the neck 😁😂

Are you memorizing techniques or learning how to fight, process data, make decisions, and act?

Happy training y’all! 😎

Many will misinterpret this, and that's fine. Respectfully, don’t be deceived by the nonsense. It's easy to be aggressive, but defending yourself is another challenge, especially in "Sudden Violence." Train as realistically as you can with an "Urgent Mindset," and you might be blessed enough to get lucky - Sijo Shaan Davis #survival #knifeattacks #selfdefense #Fma #filipionomartialarts
