POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Here’s a photo/video dump from the past few weeks. Toan Nguyen’s birthday celebration, Scary farm, monthly meetup, Chinatown, vintage family photo, stopping by an old skate spot (Ramona), my @grimeofficial Pez deck, Better call Saul shirt, my kid, and video from New Mexico. Digitizing to keep the memories in an album.

There’s more to Skateboarding than riding a skateboard.

- Sometimes your friend loses their key fob in bushes and you go searching for it
- sometimes you spend a few minutes trying to shoot your board against a pillar to make it flip in the air and catch it
- sometimes you pretend like your friend is in your way and you motion for them to get out of your way without them knowing
- sometimes you film your friends skateboard
- sometimes you admire wildlife instead of skating

The best part about Skateboarding is having a good day hanging out with your friends.

Looking back at some of the magazine covers and photos that documented parts of my skateboarding journey with @lookbacklibrary

In the 90s, before social media hit, skate magazines were how the culture traveled around the world. Each cover or photo represented hours of attempts, scouting spots, and working with incredible photographers who knew how to capture the moment.

Grateful for everyone who helped create these moments and for the role these images played in skate history. 🙏🛹

Got blessed with two OG’s that came by today. These two are skateboarding legends that were part the golden era of Team Shorty’s back in the early 2G’s. Blessed to call them friends. The next few days we will be busy behind the grill. Come check us out for some lunch or dinner. Cheers everyone #BackyardBarbecue #Bbq #Grilling #805 #Cali
