We got holy at The Samba Room for Follow The Palm, with none other than my brilliant friend Jayli and the phenomenal DJ Nam.

It felt like more than a night out, it really was holy. Beautiful connections forming before our very eyes.

Plenty of tracks last night I’d not played out before - always important to throw in a few surprises… including Holy (Francis Mercier and Roland Clark), Careless Whisper Marasi Remix and an Tur G AfroHouse rework of Yihiye Tov by Odeya. 38 tracks, 10 languages, many moments.

Musical synergy was flying around the room, with an awesome crowd full of love and vibes. Miguel Alves on percussion as always.

Jayli and DJ Nam’s sets were full of beats and surprises in equal measure - I absolutely loved them.

THIS WAS SPECIAL

Thanks to Lala Presents again for another top night. Can’t wait to do it all again.

Highlights of the week: words from @honeydijon, experiencing fjör with @thesculptresslondon, listening to Chris de Lapuente speak and spending time with loved ones.

Sometimes being a founder can feel like a lonely world. You have to make tough decisions, sit with set back after set back and still continue to persevere day in and day out - for the sake of building something meaningful.

Maybe the superpower you ultimately develop is the grit to power through, trust your vision and still cherish special moments like these along the way.
