Help @oliibeartwist Get Home and Recover

Friends, family, and music community, today we’re asking for your help for someone who has spent years bringing joy, energy, and unforgettable memories to so many people. Our dear friend Oliver “DJ Twist” Chico recently suffered a stroke while traveling in the Philippines. What was meant to be time away has turned into a life-changing medical emergency far from home. Oliver is currently facing significant medical expenses, ongoing care costs, and the tremendous challenge of arranging travel back home so he can continue his recovery surrounded by loved ones. Beyond the immediate medical needs, he will also be facing living expenses and lost income during what will undoubtedly be a long road to healing.

If you’ve ever danced to one of his sets, shared a conversation with him, worked alongside him, been booked by him or simply experienced the positive energy he brings into every room, you know that Oliver has always been someone who gives generously to others. Now he needs our support more than ever. No donation is too small. Every contribution will help ease the financial burden on Oliver and his family as they focus on what matters most: his recovery, rehabilitation, and safe return home. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and social networks. Your support, prayers, and encouragement mean more than words can express. Let’s come together as a community and help Oliver through this difficult time.

Oliver has been a close friend of mine for over 20 years and has become like a brother to me in times of need. So we are humbly asking for your compassion, kindness, generosity, and support for him during this difficult time. Thank you. LINK IN BIO AND STORIES

With gratitude, Kris “DJ Prophet” Figueroa

What a night playing for my friends on NYE at @kurveonwilshire to ring in 2026! 🎊

Picked up new lessons learned each time, such as: It’s ok to let tracks play out when there’s time to chill or replay when the crowd likes it; song requests are fun. Need tons more practice transitioning stems vs EQs.

Wish you were at @kurveonwilshire again @twstmusic . I learned some set up tips from you. Thank you🙏.

We had a jolly good time with you all at our resident holiday party last night! Santa & his elves were in attendance, plus we had an amazing dessert bar, savory bites, festive cocktails, music, and a photo booth to make for a memorable evening with our #CircaLA community! 🎅 ✨

Congrats to all of the raffle winners and in the spirit of giving—thank you for all of the toy donations. We have a sleigh full of gifts to be dropped off at the Salvation Army for families in need. 🙏 🧸

Still floating from our whimsical Nutcracker night at Kurve on Wilshire! 💫🎄 From breakdancing nutcrackers to ballerinas spinning on pointe — and yes, even an aerial performer dancing on a beam — the entire evening felt like stepping into a real-life holiday fairytale.

Residents mixed, mingled, and indulged in the most decadent dessert table curated by Luxe Bites, while specialty cocktails kept spirits bright at the bar. 🍸✨ DJ Twist dropped the bells, beats, and merry magic all night long. #hinesightproductions
