This session was insanely good and I think that this idea of putting my pads on and forcing myself to knee slide one to increase my comfort level to start doing more tricks that are difficult to me and also to be able to help my flexibility because once I get warm and I start skating, then I have the ability to stretch a little bit deeper and finally get my butt to my heels because I I used to be able to do it so that means I can be able to do it. It’s just gonna take some time and one thing I do a lot of is everybody sees is skateboarding so I think this will really really help out and ultimately another piece that it’s not a huge deal, but it’ll also be nice as just the impact you get from running out of stuff. I don’t think that helps and it makes my recovery time longer. Then because of that I started feeling way more comfortable to actually sit inside the ramp on front side and finally feel what it’s like to lock into a front side 50-50 and not run out on the deck or slow myself down and I finally felt it like literally like looking back at the video I can be able to see how much my body is almost in a chair over top of the coping where my hips are inside the ramp like everybody says oh just get inside the ramp and until you really feel it people can tell you time and time again oh just get inside the ramp do this lean up against the wall and put your back against it and that’s how it’s supposed to be but literally how I felt it. Lock in was next level. It just felt so amazing and so sturdy. I’m still fighting a little bit once I get that lock to stay in the ramp and open up my hips, a little bit more to where I wanna go back into the ramp so I don’t have to push off the coping so hard but step-by-step and it’s just gotta keep on growing.

#session #5 #mission #360flip trying out a little bit of a newer foot position and I thought I had my foot hanging off the front enough but then I watched someone else do it and they had it way more so I did that and had one good one as you can see but at this point in the session, I had already been skating for about an hour and a half, so definitely not the best timing so not gonna make that mistake again, but ultimately wraps and trying to figure things out and I feel like I’m getting closer.
