✨It was such a delight to be one of the featured guests during the Arizona Diamondbacks Black Excellence night last month. @dbacks 💋Although I was raised not to focus on color, I understand the world doesn’t think that way. That’s why being a positive representative in my community for the next generation means the world to me - with or without my crown. 💖We are the collective network of what the children see is possible for their future. Each day as we chase after our dreams we must keep this in mind, it isn’t just our destiny on the line, it is the chance to hold the door open for the next generation. 💚Something that isn’t often mentioned, when you make public appearances and others read aloud your accomplishments it can be easy to feel like Steve Urkel and say in your mind, “Did I do that?!” Yet when I take a step back and reflect, it’s WE did that! Thank you to my community who makes outreach moments leading up to nationals possible! I’ll post the intro video soon. PS. Never stop dreaming. Last year I said in a suite at a game and said “Next year I want to be on the field.” By the grace of God here we are! Now I can say, in the future I want to throw a first pitch! 😉 Thank you again @dbacks & @chasefield for having me. ….. The national @missforamericaofficial pageant will take place on September 1st at the @westgatevegas and the winner gets to become a spokesperson for @victoriasvoicefoundation. Check out the foundation to learn more about the importance of living a drug-free life. Mark your calendar for the pageant! Also click on the first link in my bio, this is for the People’s Choice, be sure to cast your vote and share with your friends. This will help us to ensure Arizona gets a placement as a finalist! If you’re interested in getting connected, please check out the links in my bio which has my pageant registry, my sponsorship packet, and links for direct donations as well as appearance requests.

Exploring Careers in Music at Chase Field! 🎵⚾ Last month, our Gila River WIOA youth participants stepped outside the classroom and onto the field for an unforgettable career exploration experience! Thanks to a generous partnership with the @dbacks Foundation, our group visited Chase Field to discover what goes on behind the scenes of a major league entertainment production. From stadium audio engineering to live game-day entertainment, our participants gained first-hand insights into creative career paths in professional sports. Our team explored how music builds energy and atmosphere in live events—analyzing how tempo, tension, and musical cues connect people across diverse backgrounds in a shared stadium experience. Experiences like these empower tribal youth to envision new career possibilities and gain real-world inspiration for their futures. A huge thank you to the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation for supporting our community’s workforce! 🌟 #GilaRiverIndianCommunity #WIOA #TribalYouth #AZDiamondbacks #CareerExploration
