TLHMSSV EVENT CANCELLATION ANNOUNCEMENT With heavy hearts, we are announcing that this Saturday’s TLHMSSV event is canceled. Why? Because our community comes first. Your safety and well-being are our priority, and we believe this is the time to focus our love, care, and attention on our families, friends, and neighbors — our community. We will always have time to celebrate our music, our scene, and the connections that bring us together. Right now, however, our focus needs to be on preparation, looking out for one another, and remaining vigilant as we navigate whatever may or may not come. We may reschedule the event at a later date, or we may hold off until our December 5 event. We will keep everyone informed as we determine the best path forward. In the meantime, let’s make thoughtful decisions, check in on one another, support those around us, and be ready to step up and step in wherever we may be needed. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause, but we strongly believe this is the right decision for our community. Tons of love to you all. Take care of one another, stay vigilant, and stay safe, Tallahassee! ❤️

Today was an important & special day. Not just for me, but for our scene & for Tallahassee. Josh Johnson, thank you from the bottom of my heart ... For the opportunity, for highlighting me on such a platform, & for believing in me. Thank you to the WFSU Public Media collective ... Everyone I met was so kind & comfortable to work with. Thank you NPR for offering this avenue which raises up artists & their work. Maximum love & respect out to Colin, Aaron, Nick, the entire Ology family, Racquel & Keith at NorthFlora for absolutely everything on every level ... Having you all in my life means so much to me! Let’s not forget Jennifer ... Love you so much. Couldn’t have anything without you! Tallahassee, I’ve said it over & over ... Massive love & I won’t let you down! https://news.wfsu.org/podcast/the-warehouse/2026-09-24/alex-martinez-shares-his-love-of-the-drum-and-bass-genre-and-live-performance?fbclid=IwY2xjawUilddleHRuA2FlbQIxMABwZG9mBWJyaWQRMTcwSUg0bDk5Q3dNU3VUTU1zcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEe5J8yAU5FbWr0tDXV1Ye7yxPwwVXq2S6rz_itjN—CVJTozrNB2PY-yV1AHY_aem_IMJ78QY_-T7s51KInLg5jg

Better late than never … Gratitude : the state of being grateful : It’s been a little over a week since TLHMSSV and not a day has passed without someone saying something in person or messaging me about the event. It made an impression on everyone and definitely a special one on me. This wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the efforts and support by a select group of individuals. Rocky and Keith, thank you for believing in me and allowing me to hold this event at your space. I told you both how I felt and you guys took a chance. Please know that I appreciate you and your staff/friends who contributed leading up to and on the day of the show. Aaron, thank you for being on board since day one, wanting to take this adventure further, and for always being down with my ideas. Jeremy, your support means very much to me and the night would not have made the impact it did without what you brought forward. It took it to the next level and made a serious impression no one will forget. Serious sound! And last, Jenn … Can’t believe what this whole thing has turned into and you’ve been there for every step of the way. I wouldn’t have been able to do anything this year if it wasn’t for you. My heart is full of love and respect for each of you and I am so excited about our future. Loads in store for this year and for 2027. I’m committed to elevating the scene and investing every bit of myself into this City. I’ve said it before and I’ll repeat myself … Tallahassee, I won’t let you down!
